One Life to Live Recap for the Week of December 12 - December 16, 2005

Jess agrees not to let Tess out, hoping that Dr. Jamieson will be able to revert Niki. David is drowning his sorrows by drinking, Dorian shows up – they see each other but disregard each others presence. Kevin shows up to get food for Kelly and runs into David. Kevin throws him a few bucks for a cab, David tells him not to take Kelly for granted. Kevin runs into Dorian, wherein he tells her about Kelly’s surgery. Dorian is furious that he let Kelly go ahead with the procedure. Dorian goes over to David, David asks for another chance – Dorian refuses. Kevin returns home, Kelly is returning from the funeral. Kevin proposes to Kelly and she accepts. Rex returns to Todd to tell him about Margaret being able to swim. . .

Blair desperately wants to have a normal Christmas, even going out to get a tree. Starr sees the tree and knows that nothing is normal and it won’t be normal again. Starr is convinced that Todd will go to jail. David asks Spencer to leave him and Paige alone – after he acquires whatever he came to Llanview to get. Spencer tells David that he won’t stop holding the murder over his head. David asks Spencer to remember that they are brothers, David leaves. Blair calls Spencer and tells him about the tree incident, Spencer says he can be over ASAP. Upon arriving Spencer brings a brand new tree for Blair, fully decorated and all ready lit up. Blair thanks Spencer by giving him a kiss, Spencer conveniently turns his head so they kiss on the lips. Blair asks Spencer to stay and watch the kids, just until the babysitter shows up so she can go see Todd. Spencer agrees, Blair leaves. Kevin and Kelly are elated that they are engage and can finally start a family. Kevin wants to get started right away but Kelly reminds him that they have to wait. Kevin receives a subpoena to testify against Todd, Kevin wishes he never would’ve gotten involved with Todd. David stops over to see Kelly, Kevin thanks him for the advise – not taking Kelly for granted. Kelly reveals that they are engaged. Rex returns to Todd’s cell with information about Margaret’s swimming ability. Rex shows Todd articles in the paper about Margaret leading her high school swimming team to the national championships. Todd admits that he thought about killing Margaret, but in reality he couldn’t do it. Rex says that he’ll continue to help Todd out, Blair shows up and thinks something fishy is going on. Todd reveals the good news and thinks he has proof he’s being framed for murder. Clint brings Niki downstairs and tells her that she’ll be hypnotized later on. Niki refuses to undergo hypnosis and refuses to help anyone. Niki runs back up to her room, Clint follows her. Jess wishes they would let her by hypnotized so Tess could come out, Antonio agrees with Clint. Nash, who went back to California, calls to check on Jess. Clint returns to them and the alarm goes off. Jess hangs up but promises to call back. The hypnotist, Dr. Fox, shows up and tells Clint that Niki is on the roof. Clint and Antonio run to the roof to retrieve Niki, wherein they forcibly bring her down off the rood and into the house. Niki is introduced to Dr. Fox, Niki refuses to be “put under.” Jess convinces her to be hypnotized – making Niki think that she will gain respect that way. Niki finally agrees to be hypnotized. . .
