Newsworthy Item Just Released:
"It keeps getting worse. With weaker lead-in support, day four of new ABC daytime talker The Revolution dropped to a 1.3 rating/4 share in the metered markets. Comparably, that was a loss of 28 percent from the lead-in average, with erosion from year-ago occupant One Life to Live of an extensive 43 percent. Versus its already sluggish debut on Monday, The Revolution declined by 32 percent. Also alarming yesterday, meanwhile, was immediate growth of 38 percent for lead-out General Hospital (1.8/ 6).
Word of advice to ABC: don't make the same mistake with General Hospital that you made with All My Children and One Life to Live."
"Keep in mind that total viewer tallies for The Revolution should be available by next Tuesday."
Here is the four-day overnight breakdown:

Hit any news site on the Internet covering anything on the cancellation on the soaps and you will find hundreds of comments that basically say the same thing - "What a mistake ABC!"
I honestly cannot believe how ABC seems to keep ignoring the viewers who tune in to their network, and more importantly pay their bills. Are they delicately trying to sabotage their own future?
I have kept my personal view on ABC's decision to end OLTL pretty quiet, basically in hopes that OLTL did in fact have a future. However, at this point I hate to admit it, but things look pretty grim. And what really gets my goat (Is this saying even used anymore?), is the fact that ABC replaced our favorite soap with a reality show! Really? How insulting is that to soap viewers?
The fact is ABC and the hosts of the new show, The Revolution, think they know all about us and what we really need. They couldn't be more wrong! So sit back, and read my own thoughts on these "so-called" experts and my own "revolution" of what's to come. And please, by all means, continue to express your own views too!

Oh wait a minute, wrong show! These are the spoilers for what's happening on CBS's Bold and the Beautiful, and Emmy® Award-winning actress, Hillary B. Smith, will soon be making her way there in the role of psychiatrist, "Dr. Stacy".
Smith will join previous cast members of OLTL, Scott Clifton (ex-Schulyer, OLTL/ Laim Cooper, B&B), Heather Tom (ex-Kelly, OLTL/Katie Logan, B&B) and Andrea Evans (ex-Tina, OLTL/Tawny Moore, B&B)
"Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley P. Bell announced today. "Hillary is a formidable actress with a powerful screen presence," said Bell. "I look forward to collaborating on this new and dynamic character with her on The Bold and the Beautiful."
Way to go Hillary!

"I think we were cheated out of family scenes of Todd and Victor learning to deal with each other. Instant brother humor was lost. I think it sucked that they brought Victor back last seconds of the show. No I won't be watching ABC daytime except for General Hospital. Going to other networks for soaps."
This fellow OLTL fan couldn't have said it any better! I agree, the fans were terribly cheated from what could have been a really exciting reunion between these two brothers. And what about Allison Perkins? How did she get Victor? Was this part of Mitch or Irene's plans, or did she act alone? And then we have Tomas and Tea? It sure would have been nice to see Victor reunite with his wife and unborn child. Plus, did Tomas have a chance of getting back together with Blair? Man, the more I think of the different possibilities the more upset I get in thinking what we have lost.
Recaps for OLTL finale...
