One Life to Live Recap for Thursday, July 22, 2004

Nora and Dan arrive at the hospital to see one of Dan’s friends. Coincidentally, Bo is there arresting the man responsible for contaminating the hospital. Dan wonders why Bo always has to show up where ever they are. Nora reminds him that they’ve had their private time. Dan agrees. Nora suggests they leave and go to her house. Dan has to see his friend but tells Nora to wait for him at her house. Nora and Bo get on an elevator. Half way down the elevator stops.

John is in the hotel lobby playing the piano. Van comes over to see him. John in-vites her to have a drink with him. Van accepts.

R.J. tells Rex that he needs him to find out about John and Van’s relationship and then they’ll talk about him buying the club back. Rex agrees to spy on Van.

The students are at the Love Center cleaning up the mess. Jen helps Julie pick up some stuff. Nick continues with putting Marcie down with a few more fat jokes. Jen tells Nick to cut it out as a big scream match erupts. Mark intervenes and tells everyone to chill and concentrate on the Love Center.

Sonia dreams that Antonio came to the Hook Up and they made love. Tico enters and asks if she really wants to get involved with Antonio. Sonia does and if their plan works she will get him away from Jess. Tico tells Sonia he has to meet with Jess and leaves. Sonia begins to throw things around and make it look like the club was broken into.

Jess and Antonio are cuddling at a restaurant. Jess is concerned people are looking but Antonio doesn’t care. Jess tells Antonio that she is interviewing Tico. Antonio, reluc-tant at first, agrees to let Jess interview Tico and tells her to try to find out about his past and what he did while in Europe. Jess promises she’ll ask. Tico comes in to find them kissing.

John and Van indulge in a few drinks and make chitchat about different cases. Van hopes that Mary will be okay once the dusk finally settles on the Santi case. John hopes so too. Rex walks in and starts to watch them. Rex calls R.J. to report that John and Van are just friends talking to each other.

Tico and Jess conduct the interview. Tico avoids a few of Jess’ questions and finds out more information about Jess’ life. Jess thanks Tico for the interview. Tico hopes that he can see her soon.

Antonio arrives at the Hook Up after Sonia calls him. Antonio looks around and asks Sonia who did it. Sonia never saw the people who ransacked her club. Antonio tells Sonia not to worry. Sonia begs Antonio to stay the night with her.

Nora calls for help while Bo tries to stay calm. Dan answers and tells Nora not to worry because the maintenance crew is working on the problem. The maintenance fore-man tells Nora that it will be a while before the elevator is fixed. Bo tells Nora to empty her purse. In doing so, Bo finds a few useful tools they can use to pry the tiles off the ceiling with. Nora says she doesn’t think it’s a good idea.

Van leaves John in the lobby. John heads upstairs to his room. A few moments later there is a knock at the door. John opens it to find Van standing there. Van “acciden-tally” picked up John’s files. They give in to temptation and begin to passionately kiss. Rex watches the whole thing. They go into his room and continue to make love. Rex calls R.J. to tell him about John and Van.

Marcie and Mark are working at the Love Center. Marcie asks Mark why he doesn’t have a girlfriend. Mark admits that he is gay. Marcie respects that. Mike comes in with flowers for her. Marcie is glad to finally have the chance to see Mike. Mike looks around and tells her that they are doing a great job. Marcie looks down to find human bones sticking out of the ground…
