Regarding Marcie, I have to say that the longhaired wig was the silliest disguise yet. But I digress. I hope its not long before this whole Todd/Tommy storyline is over. Im so tired of it. The running is starting to wear on Marcie. She is worried about being found out and shes terrified about where her new life will take her. To top it all off, she really misses Michael and Michael is just a mess back home. The more time goes by, the more Marcie misses home and the angrier Michael gets over what her running has done to them. To top it all off, the hospital has suspended Michael after his arrest for perjury. What else could go wrong? Its a lot of drama that most people are tired of watching at this point. Let it be over already.
Jared is having himself a good old time getting a birds eye view of the Buchanan family at its best and worst. He was way out of line when he overheard Jessica teasing Nash about how cute Chuck Wilson is and after Nash reminded Jessica that she was a married lady, Jareds commented, That never stopped her before. That earned him a punch from Nash that he well deserved. And Im going to give Renee some leeway because shes in mourning, but it was pretty annoying when she cozied up to Jared after his altercation with Nash. Jared may not turn out to be a bad guy, but where is Renees loyalty? She is blinded by Jared and what she thinks is his likeness to Asa. Its too bad that Nora is so devoted to Renee because now that she owns the mansion, she would have the right to kick Jared to the curb. If it would hurt Renee Nora would never do it, so I guess the roof over Jareds head is pretty secure.
I was appalled by Natalies behavior when she and Chuck, Jess and Nash and Sarah and Jared were all sitting outside and the subject of her carousing with Chuck came up. Natalie saw how much the thought of her being with Chuck bothered Jared. I thought Natalie stooped to an all time low when she asked everyone, Does anyone else have a problem with me sleeping with Chuck? If she could ever be considered a slut, that was the moment. She couldnt shut her mouth. And true to form, smart little Sarah realized that she didnt care to play the game anymore and told Jared to lose her phone number. I like this girl more and more all the time.
BUT FINALLY, Natalie decided to stop playing the game and be honest when she and Jared were left alone and he asked her why she keeps behaving this way. I finally saw a glimmer of the Natalie I want her to be when she confessed to Jared that she didnt sleep with Chuck and that she kept trying to get him to walk away from her because she couldnt walk away from him. Finally, their guards came down for a change and Natalie and Jared fell into each others arms, putting aside the sparring and teasing. Maybe now we can stop playing games and stop acting like teenagers. (No insult intended towards teenagers who probably act more maturely than Natalie and Jared usually do.)
Now Marty and Cole are missing. I feel sorriest for Starr. I wasnt surprised when she finally broke down and was listing all the things that were going on in her familys crazy lives and the fact that everyone who should be in charge of taking care of the kids is away. Its ridiculous that Blair and Todd are both away looking for Marcie and I have to say that I wasnt surprised that Dorian took off for Texas to go after Clint. It was only a matter of time before Dorians responsible attitude toward Langston took a back seat to her jealousy over Clint and Nora being together in Texas. Shame on Dorian for shirking her responsibility to Starr, Jack and Langston and pushing them off on Carlottas the way she did. Dorian sure got an eyeful when she got to the ranch and went in search of Clint and Nora. Im not a big fan of Clints, but he seems to be more appealing with Nora than with either Dorian or Viki (God forbid). Nora is a lot of fun and shes just a funny person. I love the way she can make fun of herself and maybe she can make me like Clint enough to care. It didnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that Dorian was going to walk into that barn just in time to catch Clint and Nora in a big clinch. Too bad Dorian!
Anyway, back to Marty and Cole. How does Marty know that they are in Ireland? I have to say that Im sorry that they are missing and it is obvious that it wasnt Miles who had the dirty hands this time, but someone from the Irish rebel group that killed Patrick, but I dont blame Michael for being angry with John for abandoning the search for Marcie in favor of finding Marty and Cole. I guess John was torn in this situation, but at least he drew Ramsey away from the hunt for Marcie. I guess I would have to say that finding an international terrorist is a tad more important than everyone chasing Marcie. Let it be up to Todd. Poor Marcie.
John sure lost his mind when he saw Miles, didnt he? Hey, I cant stand Miles, but I thought John was a bit of a lunatic when he nonchalantly walked into the hotel and attacked Miles. Is Bo the only person at the Llanview P.D. who is not a hothead? Now John can deal with Lee Ramsey, another maniac. Maybe they can avoid killing each other while they trade information and track down Marty and Cole.
It is obvious that Cristian misses Sarah and she misses him, too. That phone call she made to him started out pretty well until Cristian realized that Jared was with Sarah and that she had invited him to Texas. I have to give Sarah credit. At least she doesnt lie. She admitted that she invited him and took the anger from Cristian. The jury is still out on this couple as far as Im concerned. I dont know if I can see them yet as a real couple with chemistry. Maybe once all the blustering is done I can figure them out. Well see.
Honestly, it was a week for hotheaded men in general on One Life to Life. Nash attacking Jared, Michael attacking the punching bag, John attacking Miles and lets not forget Ramsey giving John that big old punch in the gut. Gee, I used to think that Antonio and Cristian were the only hotheads in the neighborhood. Ill have to rethink this.
See ya next week.
