FAN FEEDBACK AND QUESTIONS
Joyce writes: Okay, why is it you never talk about Michael and Marcie. These two people show us what love really is and how it should be. So they each have a lie that really needs to be told and I hope the rumors are not true about them getting a divorce because that will be the end for me.
Dear Joyce: In the past I mentioned many times that I think Michael and Marcie are a totally adorable couple and I also emphasized the fact that they never had much of a storyline before this situation with Tommy. I wrote quite a bit about them when they were going through with the adoption and especially when Michael was so torn about keeping the secret that Todd is Tommys father. With Todd out of the picture for a while, other storylines edged out the whole Tommy story but rest assured that now that Todd is back I will have plenty to say about Michael and Marcie and I will no doubt shed plenty of tears if that baby gets ripped from their arms in the nasty way that Todd always has of handling things in his life, without a care for other people and their feelings.
Julie writes: I love One Life to Live, but it seems to be changing to One Life of Jessica. What is with all the illnesses, injuries, split personalities, etc. she is suffering from? I think other deserving characters deserve more storylines, like Marcie. Have her write another book. I am just saying enough of Jessica!
Dear Julie: It does seem like some characters get the lions share of the airtime and I guess you have to be fortunate enough for those characters to be your favorites. I was never a huge fan of Evangeline and I felt the same way about seeing her on my screen every day the way you do about Jessica, so I understand where youre coming from. I have always loved the character of Jessica and since I am a big Nash fan, I never get tired of seeing Jessicas storylines play out. As far as the illnesses and all the calamities that befall Jessica, she is only going through what all leading ladies on soap operas go through. I figure that Jessica has at least six more marriages and five more illnesses to go to catch up to her mom and lets face it, who doesnt love Viki?
Sheree writes: I am a HUGE Blair fan and will usually defend her to the death but even I'm getting tired of her attacking people. Sarah, Marty and Cole to name her three recent victims. I KNOW she's been through a lot in the past two years but COME ON! I just hope this is the last of Dena Higleys!
Dear Sheree: WHOA! STOP THE PRESSES! Sheree has said something unflattering about Blair. I couldnt agree more about Blair, but I dont think this is a new personality trait for her. She has always been one to fly off the handle when things didnt go her way so if youre waiting for Blairs personality to change with a new Head Writer, please dont hold your breath. I like Blair, even though her behavior sometimes makes me want to shake her silly and I dont think Id want her to change too much.
Norma write: First Margaret had Todd tied to a bed for who can remember how long, now Miles has him unconscious and tied to a bed, my question is this: Does Todd ever get to pee? Does this man have a bladder of immense proportions? What gives?
Dear Norma: Thanks for the laugh. I have wondered many times about characters on soap operas who are tied up for weeks, held hostage, stranded in plane crashes, etc. manage to satisfy their needs, so to speak. Todd has been in so many sticky situations that he probably has learned at this point how to hold his bladder for months at a time, LOL. I dont think Miles had Todd tied down; he just had him drugged so he wouldnt even be awake to know he had to pee. Lets just say that we hope he gets a change of clothes pretty soon now that hes awake, if you get my drift.
