FAN FEEDBACK AND QUESTIONS

Jamie writes: “IMHO, Natalie and Jared are so much HOTTER than Natalie and John ever thought about being. They just ooze chemistry!”

Dear Jamie: I don’t dispute the fact that there is obvious chemistry between Jared and Natalie. I see it, too. They definitely do have something going on there. However, I am a die-hard John/Natalie fan and to me, John is one totally sexy guy and he and Natalie have a connection and a deep attachment to each other that never goes away. To me that is what oozing chemistry is all about. It’s there between John and Natalie even though they stopped being a “couple” long ago. And for me, it sure doesn’t hurt that John is a totally honorable man; that, to me, gives him a huge edge over Jared. I don’t dislike Jared, but I don’t think he compares to John and that’s just MHO! Jared has a lot to answer for and Clint and Bo are going to go after him for pretending to be someone he isn’t. Jared’s past choices are going to have repercussions for a lot of people and I wonder if and when he and Natalie will be able to be happy since all those repercussions will badly affect her family.

Sheree writes: “Since when does an abused woman/wife LET herself be abused be it mental/verbal/physical? I get angry that the writers think SO little of the character of Blair that they keep putting the two of them back together instead of taking the time to think of separate storylines for them. It's not for lack of of partners, Todd with Evangeline or Blair with RJ (in MY dreams), it's the lack of leadership and willingness to take chances.”

Dear Sheree: I definitely think that Blair let herself be abused by Todd every time she didn’t stand up for herself and her children and kick his butt out of that house. Despite Blair’s background, she has always prided herself on being a strong woman who doesn’t take any crap from anyone and she has let her “love” for Todd color everything she has done up to the point where she woke up and started standing up for her kids and for herself. I surely don’t want to see Todd and Blair back together again. She needs to break the cycle and honestly, I don’t think any woman in Llanview deserves to be saddled with a maniac like Todd. Evangeline would have been crazy to saddle herself with the likes of Todd and as much as I’d like to have RJ back on the canvas for good, I don’t really see him with Blair.

Jamie writes: “Not everyone can be mild mannered. So what if Cristian has a temper? I call it passion! And I love him and Sarah together. They are cute and they actually have fun together!”

Dear Jamie: Well, no one that I know will ever make the mistake of calling Cristian mild mannered; that’s for sure. I like him with Sarah, too, and yes they are cute together. I wonder how their romance will progress since Cristian doesn’t take well to surprises and Sarah definitely has a mind of her own and an adventurous streak a mile long. I think Sarah loves Cristian and wants to be with him, but she has aspirations of her own as far as her career goes and he will have to let her be herself and not hold her down. Can the man who is set in his ways have a future with a woman who is a totally free spirit? I hope so; it will be interesting to watch, especially with Sarah’s mom back on the scene.
