I guess it is finally time for Todd to get a little of what is coming to him, or a lot of what is coming to him. It sure hasn’t come too soon for me. It’s hard to believe that someone can be as blind and delusional as Todd when he continues to blame everyone else for things that happen and never takes responsibility for anything. One might think that Todd would finally realize the extent of his abuse when he sees Starr lying at the bottom of a flight of stairs that he pushed her down. One might think that the thought of badly hurting a child he supposedly loves more than anything would make him wake up and want to do better. But not Todd. He had the nerve to blame everything on Cole and no matter what, he is sticking to his guns that Starr’s fall was an accident when all he wanted was to get her out of the way so that he could pound on Cole some more. He can’t face the fact that he could possibly have hurt Starr, so he has convinced himself that she will be okay and that it wasn’t his fault. He couldn’t even quit his violent ways when he was at the hospital and Starr refused to talk to him and forgive him for what he did and he got hold of Cole in the hallway, grabbing him, insisting that Cole get Starr to forgive him. Did he think his desperation would make Cole care? What a fool. I cheered when Blair had him arrested. And by the way, will he be heading back to Virginia Beach to face charges?

Kudos to Blair for standing up for the safety of her children and giving Todd the comeuppance she should have given him a long time ago. My praise of Blair comes with a good does of blame also, because let’s face it; she could have put a stop to Todd’s tyranny before things got so out of hand and she stood by and backed him up as he destroyed his relationship with Starr and hurt the innocent people around her like Langston, Cole and Markko. But better late than never and Blair is finally doing the right thing.

How will the storyline play out as far as Starr’s pregnancy? Too many people know about it for it to remain a secret for too long. I was really impressed with Blair when she found out that Starr was pregnant and all she was concerned with was that Starr was okay and letting her know that she has her full love and support. Blair feels guilty (and rightfully so) that she didn’t make Starr feel she could come to her with the truth because Starr believed she would run to Todd with the news.

It amazes me just how oblivious Todd is. He certainly didn’t take it seriously at first when Blair told him to get out of the house. I didn’t even mind Dorian basking in the happiness of kicking Todd out of her house. I loved the way the tables were turned on him when Blair hired Shawn to work for her and Shawn refused to accept Todd’s offer to pay him off to get him back on his side. It was nice to see that Shawn wasn’t swayed by money, but was sick of Todd’s antics and was happy to side with Blair. And leave it to Todd to pull out all the stops and not put his children’s interests first when he finally agreed to leave the house but insisted that he was taking Sam with him. He manhandled Sam and grabbed him from Blair just like he does everything else when he’s furious and doesn’t get his way. And all I could think was what a disgusting human being he is when he used Jack to get back at Blair by telling Jack right to his face that he wants to stay and be with his family but Blair is making him go. Who is the child here? I wish someone would explain to me why some people feel that Todd loves his kids so much. We haven’t even begun to see the collateral damage that Todd’s behavior has done to Jack and it means nothing to Todd to use him to get back at Blair. Jack was just recently trying to understand why Todd gave him away as a baby and now he has to deal with this.

Well, Todd is going to pay in a very big way for his mindless fury because as we now know, he has Sam in the front seat of that car with him and he is distracted by Sam playing with the car door handle. Todd has had so many chances to be grateful for what he has and lead a good life and he, alone, is responsible for losing everything that he is going to lose.

Wasn’t Adriana and Rex’s wedding blissful? OMG! Gigi sure had guts when she stood up and finally declared her love for Rex. I know that I have not been kind to Adriana and for sure she hasn’t really deserved a lot of sympathy, but I have to say that I did feel for her when Gigi made her confession and Adriana came forward and talked about how long and hard she and Rex have worked to be together and finally get to this day. She talked about all they had been through (mostly thanks to Dorian) and I really could feel her pain when she said, “You’ve been here for six months and you pick this moment to come out and say this!” Adriana was heartbroken and then she found that Cramer girl temper and hauled off, punching Gigi in the face. I think she learned that left hook from Blair, no?

And if all the antics at the wedding weren’t enough, then Brody shows up at the back of the church, making Gigi think she is seeing a ghost. Boy, he sure cleans up well, doesn’t he? Shane couldn’t be happier that his dad is back from the dead, but Gigi didn’t seem too thrilled. She’s in love with Rex, everyone knows it and she is totally miserable.

I was pretty surprised that the wedding finally took place because once Adriana had that private talk with Rex and he admitted that he didn’t know how he felt about Gigi, I figured Adriana had to be desperate to go through with it. If she were thinking clearly, she would have to admit that this was no way to start a marriage and that it was doomed to have problems from the start. Adriana’s anger is going to destroy her because after going over to Gigi’s place and getting no satisfaction, she got behind the wheel of her car in a fury and crossed paths with the other person in Llanview who shouldn’t be behind he wheel of a car in his current frame of mind. The results will be disastrous.
