One Life to Live Recap for Wednesday, June 25, 2003

It’s hump day and things are starting to heat up! As we dawn near the closing of another week in world of soap operas.

The scene opens with

A voice that is giving us a run down of the artistic world.  (It sounds like Marcie’s voice.) We then go to Marcie and Al who are sitting in a dorm room. Al kisses her and tells her that he wants to make love to her. (Watch it Marcie things are starting to get hot!)

We then go to Cristian who is engaged in his art festivities. Natalie happens to be there with him, looking at the reviews of Cristian's artwork in the newspaper. She is very excited about them.

Back at the Band headquarters

We she Flash telling Riley that after their CD is cut she wants to go some place they have never been before. (Riley thinks that she is tripping over the Reverend Joe dumping her.)

Somewhere out in the park

Jen is telling Rex that she’s going after what she wants. 
Rex says,
"By following Dr. MacIver around with a camera.” (We know what Rex is thinking.) 
Now Reverend Joe enters the park shirtless and Jen appears to like the view. (Has she taken the camera off of Dr. MacIver for a while?) 

Now we see Adriana whom everything seems to be going perfect for. She writes a note stating that she is going for a walk. (I assume that this letter is for godmother Carlotta.)

Meanwhile at the Diner

We see Nora, Bo, and Matthew hanging out. (It looks like a family affair to me.  What about to you all?) Matthew is dancing with his mom while Bo cheers him on. Matthew wants to know if his dad was a good dancer, Nora says yes looking at Bo of course.

An evening of relaxation

Now Jessica is knocking at Antonio door. He opens the door and it seems that he’s planning a romantic evening for them. But all Jessica can see is visions of Mitch.

As Antonio heads to the kitchen to get her water she says
“I am not ready for this.”

Back at Al's dorm room

Marcie tells Al that she is not ready to take the big step. She is being conscious about her weight. She tells Al that she doesn’t feel attractive enough. She leaves crying because she doesn’t want Al to be disappointed.

Antonio comes back from the kitchen and he tells Jessica that he doesn’t want her to be disappointed. As they sit at the table, Jessica asks how are things going for him now that Keri is back.  He tells her that he sees a little more of the baby now. (Jessica asks about Keri.) Antonio tells Jessica that all he has for Keri is angry.

We go back to Flash and her band

Flash and Riley are sitting at a table going over the song that he wrote. Flash is interested in the girl who Riley wrote the song for. (Flash says "She must be very special.")

Back in the outside world

Jen is still holding her camera on the Reverend Joe. Rex is talking to her but she can’t focus on what he’s saying because she is looking at Joe. Rex tells her that he is going to get her a surprise.  (Jen is like what ever just don't block my view.) Now Joe comes over to tell her that Rex is not good for her. (Bad idea Joe) because Jen tells him in so many words well I thought you were right for me, but look how that turned out.

Natalie is trying to convince Cristian to stop being so hard on himself. (to her he is the best artist around.) Now Cristian is giving her tips on painting.

We join all in the family again

Bo and Nora are talking about Matthew asking questions about his dad. In comes Gabrielle with plans for her and Bo to take a trip. All Bo seems to be talking about is Matthew. (come on Gabrielle - get a clue.) Finally she seems to be picking up on this but she does a good job covering it up.

Now Joe is standing in the park looking as if he wants Jen right there. He says,
"Can we get back to where we were"?"
Jen wants to know what’s that.

Back at Antonio's

Antonio and Jessica are still talking about Keri and Jamie. Now Antonio tells Jessica that she is more than a princess, as they start to dance. (hang on viewers because Jessica can't seem to get papa Mitch out of her head.) Who does she vision she’s dancing with?) Good ol' daddy Mitch. She pull away telling Antonio I can’t do this.

 Al and his ladylove

Now we see Al in the radio studio. Of course he is the voice of the night. He is trying to come up with something special to make Marcie feel better about their relationship.

Antonio and Jessica are standing at the window. Antonio tells her he doesn't want to pressure her. He says maybe you need to talk about it. Jessica tells him not right now. Antonio asks Jessica to stay for some of his killer dessert. Jessica agrees.

That Mysterious voice

The voice of the night is talking to the lady of his heart. Marcie is touched! Now we hear the most romantic song playing for all the would be lovers. We see Marcie, Bo, Nora, Gabrielle, and Matthew.  Jen is standing next to Joe; she walks away, he walks up behind her. Natalie is watching Cristian paint. Antonio is giving Jessica a drink. We also see Riley and Flash. 

We see Al in his dorm room, Marcie knocks on the door and tells him she heard him. Now we see Adriana and one of the guys from Flash's band, they are talking about music. Flash is singing at the table with Riley, she starts to cough up a storm, Riley asks if she is okay. She say’s,
"I'm fine! We are going to cut this CD."
"I don’t care about the CD." Riley says, "I don’t want anything bad to happen to you." 
Now we see Joe in the park telling Jen the same thing. Rex comes up and asks if she got everything that she needs, she says not everything. Rex gives her a ring and Jen asks
"Is it real?"
Rex says,
"Well it's not cubic Zirconia." 
He then tells Jen that he would love to see everyones face when they find out about their supposed wedding.

Meanwhile at the diner

Matthew is talking about a trophy that Nora and Bo won in a dance contest. He asks Nora and Bo to dance.
"You want us to dance?" Nora asks Matthew.
She then says to Gabrielle,
"Help me out here." 
Gabrielle says I would love to see it myself. (now we all know that Gabrielle is bluffing.) So now Bo and Nora take the floor. (I have to admit that Bo and Nora have skills.)  Well Nora can sense that Gabrielle is getting a little jealous, so she pretends to be worn out. She comes over to the table breathing heavy so that Bo can ask Gabrielle to dance. Nora says to Gabrielle,
"He’s all yours, Gabrielle.”
Now Gabrielle and Bo starts to slow dance. (the only problem with this is that they don't look as happy as Bo and Nora did.)

Back to Marcie and her man

Where Marcie and Al seems to be getting closer. They kiss and Marcie tells Al that she loves him.

Back at the studio

Cristian is working with paint all over him, Natalie yells across the room,
"I love you!"
Cristian says,
"What?"
Natalie comes closer and she says,
"You heard me, I said I love you."
Things start to turn romantic between them.

Now back in Al’s room he and Marcie are sitting on the floor snuggled up. At the diner Gabrielle and Bo are still dancing, as Nora and Matthew look on. They start to kiss but Matthew interrupts saying that he and his mom are leaving. Bo informs Gabrielle that he and Nora are thinking about telling Matthew sooner that he is his real daddy. (The look on Gabrielle's face says that she is not too happy.)

We see Adriana departing from her newfound friend. Riley informs Flash that he wrote the song for her. She asks him why. He says, "I wanted you to know how I feel." 
 
Back at Antonio's place

Jessica and Antonio are sitting at the table eating strawberries.  Jessica asks,
"How did you do all of this?" 
Antonio replies,
"I asked your mom to prepare me a list of your favorite foods."
Jessica starts to vision Mitch saying the same thing to her. She then gets up and head for the door again telling him she can’t do this. As Jessica is rushing out of the door, who do we see standing there? It’s Keri! Jessica says,
"I was just leaving." 
Antonio says to Keri now is not a good time. Keri says it’s never a good time for you. Keri reminds him about what she told him before and blurts out,
"I meant it! I want you back Antonio."

Tune in tomorrow to see what Antonio's response will be to Keri? Will Jessica come to her senses? Will Flash find a new love in Riley? Will Jen and Rex tie the knot? Will Marcie and Al take their romance to a new level?
