One Life to Live Recap for Monday, June 23, 2003

The scene opens

With Joey entering the living room of Llanfair carrying a "Joey special" that he made for Viki. He finds a note that she left for him saying that she would return soon.

On the road

We go to Antonio and Walker who are in the police mobile in search of Jessica. Antonio is talking to Bo on the phone about finding Jessica. We then see Jessica being escorted down the stairs by one of Mitch flunkies. Brian tells her that he’ll take it from there as he sends her to the kitchen. He then tells Jessica that he is going to help her escape. In comes Mitch carrying Viki along blind folded. He then removes the blind fold and tells Viki welcome to Lion’s heart the place where you will spend the rest of your life.

Back in the police mobile

Antonio and Walker seem to be lost. Antonio says to Walker,
"Let’s go by foot." 

At the Lion’s heart mansion Viki says,
"Where is Jessica?"
As Mitch asks her if she could call him Victor. As Mitch goes to look for Jessica she comes out of the closest and tells Viki that Brian is going to help them escape.

We go to Llanfair

Where Flash knocks on the door and Reverend Joey answers. She pretends to be interested in Jessica, but then she starts to apologize for lying to Joey. She ask if they could still be friends.  Joey tells Flash they are more than friends they are family.

Meanwhile back to the Lion’s heart Mansion

Brian is trying to help Jessica and Viki escape, all of a sudden Brain falls down and Mitch enters carrying a gun in his hand saying that I thought I made it clear that this is where you belong. (Obviously he had a silencer on the gun when he shot Brian.)

Back at the Big House

Joey is looking at a picture of Jessica, and Flash is assuring him that Jessica is going to be okay.

At the Lion’s Heart Mansion

Mitch has a group of flunkies around him now, and Jessica questions Mitch why he shot Brian. Mitch answers back,
"I will not tolerate betrayal."
"Are you saying it’s my fault?" 
He then starts to inject Jessica with a needle. Viki says
"What are you doing she is your daughter."
Mitch tells Viki,
"Please I will never hurt Jessica! But I hope this incident will show you both that you can’t escape the inevitable. This is our new home."
Viki says,
"You have lost your mind."
"You should know a little about that, Mitch interjects. (As if to say considering you've been there yourself.)
"What do you really want?" Viki asks Mitch
"I already have everything, except one last big treat." 
He has Jessica escorted upstairs.  (Now he wants to dance with Viki the same as Victor did.)  He starts kissing Viki's neck. (Viki face has a look of disgust on it.)

Back at LPD

Bo is talking to Natalie and Cristian about Antonio newest heroine activities. He tells Cristian that Antonio is on his own until the morning. 

Antonio and Walker In Woods

Antonio and Walker are now out in the woods looking at a map. The flashlight seems to be going dead so Antonio heads to the car for batteries. 

At the Lion’s heart Mansion

Mitch's flunky is combing Jessica hair, while Mitch (or Victor whomever he is at this point) seems to be enjoying a dance with Viki. They are talking about sweet little innocent Jessica. Viki is saying don’t take away that innocence.  Mitch tells her he will never do that to Jessica. Viki says don’t be another Victor Lord.

Back upstairs, the woman hired by Mitch, is spraying perfume on Jessica and talking about her having all of the prettiest things that she could ever want. Jessica manages to spray the perfume into her eyes and then grabs her by the neck and covers her mouth with her hands. Downstairs, Viki is now pleading with Mitch to let Jessica go. Mitch has had enough and screams for another one of his flunkies to guard Viki. Viki is yelling for Mitch not to hurt Jessica. Viki yells out to Mitch,
"I will kill you."

Back outside in the woods

Antonio finds that Walker seems to have disappeared but finds his cell phone and the map that they were using. At Lion’s heart, Mitch is going out of his mind and is upset Jessica is now missing and orders his flunkies to find her. There is a knock on the door and another flunky is standing there with Walker. 
"So you’re alive," Mitch says to Walker.

Back at Llanfair

Flash is telling Joey how her "mama dearest" Tina ruined her singing career and that this drove her to leave home in search of her big brother CJ.

As Walker is lead inside, Mitch says to him,
"So here's the brother that I thought I killed! Who do you guys think that you’re fooling." 
Walker responds,
"You weren’t in your right mind then." 
"I am now, because I am free of father," Mitch tells Walker.
Mitch goes on to say it is now like a family reunion, with his so-called brother and the mother of his child. 
"But not your daughter, says Viki. 
"Make no mistake, because she will be found," Mitch boldly states.  In comes Jessica carrying something behind her back. She pulls out two pieces of cut glass and says to Mitch,
"If you really love me, you’d better prove it before I cut my throat."

Back at the Big house

Joey is looking for another punch line from Flash because he can’t believe that Tina just crushed her dreams, and thinks there must be more to her story.

At the LPD

Cristian is worried about big brother Antonio because of Keri being back he seems to be a little off the mark.

Now we are back in the woods

Where Antonio is now frantic. Inside at Lion’s heart Viki says to Jessica,
"Please Jessica this is not the way." 
"I agree, because I can make everything fine," Mitch says to her. "Then let them go," Jessica yells back. 
Mitch is willing to do this for the love of his so called life.

Back at the Big house

Flash is rambling on about how the great Tina ruined her life, and works up a big cough as Joey agrees to get her some water. Flash takes one look at her mother's picture and she takes off.

Back at the LPD

Keri comes in and acts all concerned card about Jessica. Cristian tells Keri it is not about her and that Jessica is Antonio priority. (In other words, telling her to stand in line.)

Now Antonio is in the woods

Hallucinating about hearing a baby's cry and sees a vision of Keri holding a baby saying that he should come back. (By now I know you all are wondering what has happened to Antonio.)

Now back at the Lions’ heart

Jessica is going nuts, she wants Viki out. Of course Viki is trying to sweet talk her because Jessica is delusional, but as Viki steps closer, Jessica puts the cut glass to her neck. As Mitch grabs Viki by the arm he yells out,
"Get out of here! Do you want her blood on your hands? Get out of here!"

Now Antonio is out in the woods

He seems to be a little out of sorts. He’s stumbling all over the place. He winds up stumbling into a sign that says’ the Lion’s heart. Antonio says out loud,
"Now I’ve found it."

Tune in tomorrow to see what will Antonio do next. Will Jessica really hurt herself? What lengths will Viki go through to save her daughter and who will Mitch be next?
