One Life to Live Recap for Monday, July 8, 2002
In the prison house after being returned to her cell, Lindsay has a confrontation with Tillie, another inmate who hates her, and seems to know at least some about the outside. She furthers Lindsay's need to escape by telling her that they will both die in the prison. But Allison doesn't want to escape.
Jen walks in on Natalie telling Cris that he is the only one who believes in her.
Gabrielle tries to explain to Al that trying to force someone to love you only leads to heartbreak in the end, to which he replies that his manipulative ways about love have come from and Max.
Troy receives a call from Blair asking if he is still going to make it to see Starr, trying to sound even more desperate when she hears that Nora will be coming she says that it will be better for Starr if he comes alone.
Sam arrives with Matthew for a scheduled play date with Starr. Starr does not want to go, because she thinks everyone is talking about them because of what her father has done.
After Nora finds Troy being hit on by the coffee clerk he convinces her that he is the only woman for him and he also tells her he must cancel their dinner because of his date with Starr.
Lindsay is still trying to convince Allison of reasons to escape by telling her how much she misses her family and tells Allison that she knows she misses Dave. Allison tells her that Dave is Ben and Ben lives with Viki and Viki hates her and will call the cops and she'll end up back in jail. so she's not going to escape and neither is Lindsay and if she tries she will her put in a cell with Tillie! Lindsay wants to know where Allison has lived over the past several years and Allison tells her Saint Ann's and a motel and that she has no friends and no where to go. Lindsay tells her that she will take care of her and be her friend on the outside until she can find a way to be with Dave.
Jen is upset that once again Cris has bailed out Natalie, and wants to know why she heard Natalie say to Cris "your the only one who believes me."
Gabrielle is still trying to convince Al that Jen doesn't love him and he leaves her speechless by telling her how Jen was there for him when he had his accident and that she loves him more than Gabrielle ever has.
Nora tells Troy how good of a man he is for being so concerned about Starr, and says it works out because she'll go see Sam to find out how Ben is doing.
Blair explains to Starr that she is also very upset with Todd, and Sam knows everything that Todd has done and he is still their friend. Starr says that she likes it that Todd is not there and Matthew says he misses his mother and likes it better when she is with he and his father.
Todd thinks that Ross was running away from someone when he steered them into the storm, Tea tries to reason with Todd that it isn't Ross's fault that they are there and Todd yields a hand grenade and tells them to leave his bunker. As they leave he celebrates with a juice box and a toast to Starr and Jack.
Troy arrives to a waiting Blair who easily convinces him that she simply forgot to call him about Starr's play date. She then persuades Troy to stay awhile citing her sadness of her situation as the cause for her needing his company.
Lindsay works her powers of manipulation on Allison by telling her that with one phone call she could have everything that they need waiting for them on the outside.
Cris avoids telling Jen what she wants to know about he and Natalie's conversation and says that she is going through a rough time and he leaves to check on Ben and Natalie and Al comes in to comfort her and asks if she's O.K.
Blair Further spins her web around Dr. Troy by telling him how difficult single parenting is and crying on his shoulder.
Gabrielle tries to convince Max that something is wrong with Al and when he is not convinced she vows to take the problem into her own hands.
Nora arrives at Sam's to find Starr there and becomes very suspicious when Starr tells her about her play date with Matthew.
Lindsay receives a visit from (you guessed it) R. J. Gannon.
