Somewhere in the South Pacific

Tea rushes up to Todd, as he is about to run off with the raft.  Tea tells him she was trying to forget him by kissing Ross, and nothing she has done has worked.  She tells Todd she loves him.  She tells him she was desperately trying to make things work with Ross, but she couldn't go through it, and she tells him again that she is still in love with him.  Of course, Todd can't put the two together and make sense out of it and insults her.  She tells him she is afraid of loving him because she always ends up being hurt.  He says, "Whatever!"  She tells him she couldn't be with Ross for the same reason he didn't leave on the raft as she called out to him. Todd tells her he want his kids back and he wants her to be part if his family.  As they embrace Ross watches.  He final makes his presence known. They all decide to get the raft done.  Ross tells them to go collect food and he will finish the raft.

At Rae's house

Lindsay screams at Allison to hurry in the basement so they can leave.  She hears a gunshot as Allison and Niki fight over the gun.  Niki is greatly relieved to see that she has not been shot.  Allison has not been shot either.  Lindsay hollers at her that she heard a gunshot and demands to know what is going on.  Allison tells her it was nothing.  Niki being Niki won't stand for someone referring to her nothing, screams.

At Christian and Jen's loft

As Jen sets the table for dinner with Natalie, she puts plates on the table, insuring that she can see the both of them.  Thinking to herself, Jen says if they want to be together bad enough they can do it in front of her face and not behind her back.  Christian walks in and can't believe his ears when Jen tells him she has invited their new friend to dinner.  She tells him that she wants Natalie to know how sorry she was about how she acted about them being "just friends."   Christian stumbles over his own words and then she tells him that she has a guilty conscience about how she treated Natalie and wants to make amends.  She sends Christian off to get their dinner.  As he leaves, Jen calls Natalie, asking her to dinner and tells her that she won't take no for an answer. (Hmmm, I guess she left that part out when she told Christian she had already invited her!)

At Antonio's apartment

Keri hands Antonio her engagement ring.  He shakes in fear that this is the end and begs her not to do this.  He tells her there has to be a way to fix the situation, and she tells him there is, he must stop the investigation of her father.  Antonio tells her he can't because that is part of his job. She says she knows that, however it puts them right back where they started. He begs her not to break up with him over this and she says she is not; he is breaking up with her.

At Christian and Jen's loft

Natalie tells Jen it is really nice of her to invite her to dinner, but it isn't a good night.  Natalie tells Jen with her mom missing she just has a lot on her mind.  Jen tells her that she more than anyone knows what that is like.  Jen lies and tells Natalie that Christian said it would make him happy if she comes.  Natalie finally agrees.  Jen hangs up and there is a knock on the door.  It is Al.  He nonchalantly saunters in all innocent wanting, no searching for information on the fire.  He sees the table is set for dinner.  He asks her who is coming to dinner.  Jen tells him Natalie. Al jumps all over this one!  He demands to know what Jen is doing because she hates Natalie.  Jen finally caves and tells him she does hate Natalie.

At R.J.'s apartment

R.J. gets into a heated discussion on the telephone and tells the person on the other end that he wants his money clip returned to him.  He tells the person that he has filled out all of the necessary paper work and demands his money clip be returned.  Then he threatens to call his attorney.  (Gee, I guess I must have missed something or been sleeping for a very long time, but just who is R.J.'s attorney anyway?)

At Rae's house

Allison holds Niki at gunpoint as Lindsay asks her who is down there with her.  Allison threatens Lindsay with the gun she just found.  She tells Lindsay not to come downstairs or she will shoot her with it.  Lindsay goes upstairs not knowing what to do and she decides to call R.J.  She gets his answering machine.  She begs him to pick up.  She tells him that Allison has a gun and she doesn't know what to do, while R.J. just sits there and listens to her message.  As Lindsay continues to beg for his help, Allison comes up behind her, grabs the phone from her and hangs it up.  She asks Lindsay if she was ordering a pizza.  Then Lindsay tells Allison she was calling her daughter and Allison flips.  She asks Lindsay if she is nuts. Lindsay sees the gun and asks Allison where she found it.  Allison tells her she found it in the basement.  Lindsay wonders if any of the neighbors heard the gunshot.  Lindsay tells her she heard someone scream.

At Antonio's apartment

Antonio pleads with Keri and tells her he is not breaking up with her.  He tells her that he has made too many plans and they have a future together. She tells him that she cannot share her bed with someone who doesn't believe in her.  He tells her he does believe her, it is R.J. he doesn't believe! Keri cannot accept that and goes off on Antonio.  She tells him that it isn' t just an investigation, he hates her father and it is the only thing greater than his love for her.  He tells her he is just doing his job.  He tells her it doesn't matter, and it shouldn't matter where their personal lives are concerned.  She tells him it does matter.  She tells him his feelings for R.J. are always going to come between them and it does matter. Keri tells him it will always matter, and knowing that she asks him, "How can I marry you?"

At Christian and Jen's apartment

Al continues to rub salt in the wounds and rubs Jen's nose in everything about Natalie, the fire, the Bayberry Inn, and anything and everything else he can think of saying.  Jen tells him she doesn't know what to do with Natalie.  She hates her and she wants her to leave them alone.  She knows that Natalie isn't going away and she is going to deal with her on her terms and make her squirm a little.  She tells Al if he really is her friend he will keep everything she told him, to himself.  Outside, as Natalie is about to knock on the door, Christian walks up and calls out to her.  They exchange their goofy little looks at one another.  (Oh, God! I am going to gag!)  Natalie tells Christian that she couldn't think of a good excuse to tell Jen that she couldn't come, so she decided to take Jen up on her invitation.  Natalie apologizes for coming between him and Jen and inside Al asks Jen once again if she really wants to go through with her dinner plans. He asks her about her mother and Jen tells him she is finally beginning to understand why her mother did the things she has done.  So many people disappointed her and lied to her.  They said they loved her and they didn't. She tells Al it was time for her to get even. (But we really know Jen is talking about herself, unbeknownst to our clueless, love struck Al. Duh?)

At Antonio's apartment

Antonio tells Keri he knows things between her father and him aren't good, but he also tells her that he isn't going to let that come between them. She tells him that R.J. is part of their lives.  How can their marriage last when he blames everything, every crime on her father?  She calls Antonio on the fact, that at first he even thought that she was covering for R.J.  He apologizes and tries to make her realize that she isn't the one he doesn't believe.  She tells him it will eventually become impossible for them to get past his feelings for her father.  Then she tells him, "Let's end this."

At Rae's house

Allison tells Lindsay she was the one that screamed because the gun was so loud.  Allison said she needed to try it out, just in case she needs to use it when they leave.  She tells Lindsay she needs to take care of a few things downstairs.  Lindsay runs to the phone after Allison leaves and calls R.J. once again.  She begs and pleads for him to answer and threatens to make her next phone call to his daughter.

At Antonio's apartment

Antonio tells her that no one will ever love her the way he does and she tells him about her mother when she was little.  Her mother told her that sometimes love isn't enough and she never understood what that meant until now.  She begs him to take his ring back and he cries and begs her not to do this.  She said it is already done.  She tells him he has to let her go. She sets her ring down on the counter and walks out of the door.  Antonio follows her out and watches her walk away.  (Shane comeback! Shane! Shane!)

At Christian and Jen's apartment

Believe it or not, Al tells Jen he knows what it is like to want something so much that you won't stop until you get it and Jen says she knows, it was her wedding too.  Al tells her he thought of her as an angel but he likes her better this way.  Jen goes to the door to see Al out, and there they are, Christian and Natalie huddled together in the hallway.  Jen ushers them inside as she ushers Al out.  She sits them on the sofa to talk while she puts their dinner on the table.

At Rae's house

Allison goes downstairs and threatens a gagged and bound Niki.  She tells Niki she is going to use her as a hostage to get out of the country. Upstairs, Lindsay threatens R.J. again and he finally picks up the telephone.  Lindsay tells him he has to help her get away from Allison.  He yells at Lindsay to do whatever it takes to get away from Allison and screams at Lindsay to stop calling him.  He hangs up on her and Keri walks in.  She calls out his name.  He thinks quickly, and yells, "Telemarketers!" Way to go R.J.  He watches as she walks towards him and notices that she is extremely distraught.  She tells him that she and Antonio broke up.  She breaks down in his arms.

At Rae's house

As they run to get into the car, Lindsay tells Allison she left the trunk open.  Allison tells her she will take care of it, but Lindsay opens it anyway, and there lying in the trunk is an unconscious Niki/Viki.

At Antonio's apartment

As he remembers back to when he proposed to Keri, Antonio knocks over his counter and yells out, "Damn you R.J.!"

At Christian and Jen's apartment

Christian is called away to Break Bar and Jen tells Natalie that they will have time to talk.  Natalie thanks Jen for the dinner invitation and tells her she doesn't feel well and wants to leave.  As Natalie walks towards the door, Jen grabs her and tells her that she isn't going to let her leave. . .

Stay tuned. . .
