CSI: LLANFAIR–"ALTER"ED MEMORIES
RECOVERED!!

WOO-HOO!! Ben KNOWS!! Ben KNOWS!! And man, folks, the face-off was GREEEEEEAT! (To paraphrase the Tiger)

Okay, okay..where do I start? Umm..okay. Ben and Niki are yelling at the top of their lungs at each other. Ben is telling Niki that she's the one who pushed him out the window. Naturally, Niki is clinging to her thin lifeline and denying that allegation to the end.

"I KNOW you did it!!" Ben screams, "Just admit it!! Why don't you just tell the truth for a change! Admit it! You pushed me out of the window!"

"I pushed you? Oh, darling, that bump on your head must really be taking a toll on you! The doctor said that head traumas can cause hallucinations.."

"I remember everything! And it was YOU!"

"Why would I push you out of the window?"

"Maybe because you didn't like the fact that I discovered you're not my wife!"

"Not your wife? Oh, darling, you really hit your head hard. Look at me! I have the same face, and I'm wearing this ring..the one you put on my finger, remember?"

Ben tells her that she may have Viki's face and jewelry, but she's Niki Smith. Well, folks..finally Niki cracks and comes forth. She scoffs at how she fooled everyone into thinking she was Viki and it worked..

On Jessica, Bo, Renee, and even dumb old Benjy, the stupidest of them all.
Ben tells her that she can now fool people from a mental institution, because she's not getting away again. What is Ben going to do? Niki taunts, hit her? He wouldn't dare, because he'll be hurting his precious Viki and he would never do that. Ben grabs Niki by the arms and viciously shakes her, screaming,
"WHERE IS SHE? LET HER OUT!! VIIIIKKKKIII!! Come on out, Viki!"

Niki scoffs again, telling him that it doesn't work that way, Einstein. I'm out now and I ain't never going back in!

Ben tells her she will, because he's going to get her locked up and a doctor will make her go back in. Niki laughs brutally, telling him that the best time of her life in this whole scenario was putting one, no, two, nooo, putting MANY over on the stupid doctors. Rae Cummings was the one who let her out!

Ben tells her that that doesn't matter..it turns out Rae wasn't even a doctor.
Niki laughs and says, "Ya, well THERE'S a newsflash!" (Even I had to laugh at that one!)

Now Niki pulls another fast one. She turns around, (her most infamous trademark move), and begins to do some crazy, seizure-like twitching thing and Ben falls for it.

(I beg your pardon, people..but even the most well-wishing viewer wouldn't have trusted this next move!)

He immediately calls out to Viki, thinking that his wife was trying to emerge, and Niki says,
"Oh? Where am I? "
Ben tells his "wife" that it's okay, she's home now. He goes to hug his wife, and Niki, who's reaching behind her back for a ten-ton statue, reaches up and brings the statue down on Ben's head!

Needless to say, folks, she got away...

LOONVIEW PD BLUE: RJ CORLEONE VS. DETECTIVE  VEGA!!

RJ and Antonio stand in the foyer of the Gannon penthouse, Keri walks in on the confrontation and demands to know what the problem is. He tells her that it may be nothing, and if she'll let him question RJ alone for a few minutes, he'll be able to find out and tell her everything. She tells him that she's not a child and she wants to be there when RJ is questioned. Antonio says that he doesn't want to involve her until he's sure that there's something to tell.

Keri angrily counters, reminding him that they discussed this scenario and they are supposed to be beyond that. Antonio tells her that it's police business, she says he's questioning her father. Frustrated, Antonio repeats that it may be nothing..

"My fiancé is questioning my father about a prison break, I'd say that's ‘something', Antonio!"

Defeated, Antonio pulls out his evidence bag and shows it to her. Confused, she asks RJ why Antonio has the money clip she bought him in Maui. RJ says that he lost it some time ago..

"You lost it? How is that possible? You showed it to me earlier this evening."

RJ tells her that what she saw was a replacement clip he bought that looks like it, because he didn't want to hurt her feelings. Antonio tells her that the only prints that was found on the clip, which was found at the crime scene, which was at the end of a tunnel from where the prisoners got out, was his..

(I apologize for that excerpt from "The House That Jack Built".)

Keri is more terrified, and she tells her father that he must tell her the truth...Did he do this? RJ denies it..(surprise, surprise..) He tells her that he loves her, and he wouldn't do anything to hurt her. Why would he risk all that he has with her to help some convicts escape??
Antonio jumps in and quips,

"Maybe because you knew one of them really well. Lindsay Rappaport? RJ hisses sarcastically, telling Antonio that he doesn't even like Lindsay, why would he help her? Keri looks at her fiancé, expecting a reply. Antonio drops another bomb on her. Well, maybe the Superbroomer had something on him.

"Like what?" RJ says, still trying to hold himself together.

"We've always suspected you of supplying the drug that helped wipe out Nora Buchanan's memory. Maybe that's what she has on you."

(Anybody else see the steam rising from inside of RJ's collar??)

"WHAT?? Why would you want to hurt Nora?" Keri says. RJ says he wouldn't, and anyone who knows him knows that. Keri primarily shows us viewers some signs of  intelligence when she didn't buy into RJ's ready-made explanations. She tells RJ that everything will easily be resolved if he can supply Antonio with an alibi at the time of the incident. RJ tells Keri that he doesn't owe Antonio an explanation, then buckles down and asks Antonio what time the prison break took place..

Antonio says around 8:45 p.m., as if RJ didn't already know that. Keri steps in and says that RJ does have an alibi. He was with her around that time.

(Fizzle...the light bulb dims once again...Tisk tisk, Keri. Now, Detective Vega, here's a couple of tips for ya..Ask RJ to show you the money clip that he bought to replace the one Keri bought, and ask for receipts, and the name of the store he purchased it at. Do that while you're still there, hmm? Give the Llanview PD some hope! Don't let the residents do all the work!)

LOONVIEW TEENBEAT: ER CONFESSIONS!!

Okay, people, this alternate Jen Rappaport has got to go! First, she's a twitching, naive neurotic, and now the writers have made her a paranoid bully wanna-be. Can anyone tell me how her brain chips became so discombobulated that she befriends Al, and attacks Natalie and Cristian?? Jeez, I know I sound like a broken record, but my goodness, this act is ridiculous! And Sam attacking Natalie without thinking back not once to the way Al shot out of the Davidson house when Sam mentioned that Jen was at home instead of the movies, and subsequently was on the scene just in time to be a hero? HAS THIS WHOLE TOWN GONE STUPID??

Okay, that's my mini-vent..on to the rest of the recap..

Jen tells Natalie that she almost died in a fire and she deserves some answers. Why was she and Cristian in Natalie's motel room? Natalie again tells Jittery Jen that Cris found some evidence about Ben's fall.
Jen tells her she knows that already tell her something new. What were they doing in her motel room? Natalie says they were looking over the evidence..(DUH?)

And that's all that happened, Jen states more than asks of Natalie. Natalie pauses for a moment as she flashes back to that kiss..(WOO-HOO), then says, No, something else happened, but she shouldn't be the one to say anything. She starts to walk away, but Jen grabs her by the arm, telling her that she can't just walk away after saying something like that. Natalie's going to tell her what she meant!

"FINE, I WILL!" Natalie blurts out. She manages to shut Jen up long enough to convince her to sit down. She tells Jen that Cris was decent enough to stand by someone in trouble. Jen says who? You? You're in trouble? Natalie struggles with a way to explain herself to Jen, then she concludes that Jen is going to find out soon enough, so she may as well tell her.

She explains about how she thought she had DID, and then breaks down DID for Twitty. Then she reminds Jen about the encounter she had at Llanfair, when she thought she was chasing Natalie and was pushed in the shed. She tells Jen that she was afraid she really did have the disorder, just as her mother does. Jen, softening a little, asks her if it's genetic. Natalie says no, but she was really afraid of herself for awhile, until Cris came along and showed her that everything would be okay. He even proved it. She went on to tell Jen that Cris hated being away from her the whole time he was helping Natalie, but she made him promise not to say anything to anyone.

She told Jen that Cristian loves her, and she needs not condemn him for being the rarely decent man that he is. He's never wanted anyone but JEN. Period. She continues to tell Jen that very shortly, she'll understand everything about the time that she and Cris were spending together.

Flash over to the Llanview Police Department, where Bo and Cris are in a tete-a-tete regarding the evidence. After putting two and two together in yesterday's episode..

(In actuality, he put two and two together after peeking at Cristian's answer sheet...)

Bo tells Cristian that Niki Smith is back. He was 99% there before, but Cris put him 100% there. (WHAT??? You lying little creep!)

He jumps on the phone and starts barking orders at the officers he assigned to post watch over Llanfair. His officers tell him that Niki is still there, but there was an intruder in the garden shed. Bo tells the officers, (this is a one-ended telephone conversation, folks!)

"Who told you that there was an intruder? And she didn't come in to check with you, did she? That's what I thought. Never mind. Find her and check every shrub and underneath them until you find her. Then keep her there until I get there!" He hangs up the phone and prepares to make another call. Cris quickly slips in a question regarding Natalie. Is she in the clear now? Bo assures him that she is. Cris leaves as Bo puts out an APB on Victoria Davidson, a.k.a. Niki Smith. Both men leave the station. Cris arrives at the hospital to see Jen and Natalie in a civil huddle, and he panics, assuming that Natalie told Jen about the kiss.

Jen gets up and greets Cris with an apology for all the horrible things that she's said to him and Natalie. Natalie told her everything. Cris is freaked now, and he starts to apologize to Jen, saying that he never meant to hurt her. Jen is confused now, wondering what Cris means. Natalie, from behind Jen, signals Cris with her eyes and stops him from putting his foot in his mouth by saying how she was explaining to Jen that he missed her the whole time he was helping Nat, and it was NATALIE who made him keep secrets...

Cris gratefully catches on and tells Jen about what happened with Bo, just as Nat is about to leave. He excuses himself to go after Natalie. They engage in an awkward conversation, in which Cris voices his concern about where she'll stay. Natalie tells him not to worry about her, she already has a place in mind where she'll be totally alone. They exchange a few more tidbits of small talk, and they say good-bye...Or do they? Hmmm...

Bo arrives at Llanfair to see his brother unconscious on the floor and he panics. He kneels down over Ben and is grateful that he's still alive. He helps a slowly recovering Ben and asks him if Viki whacked him. Ben says, "No, Niki Smith did."

Bo barks at his approaching officers, accusing them of not being there to protect Ben, and the officers say that they spotted Niki, but she took off.
Bo tells them to call for back-up and an ambulance. Ben tells him to forget the ambulance and find Niki. The Buchanans argue for a few minutes, then Bo leaves to find Niki.

Well, she's breaking into to Roxanne's old apartment with a credit card! She successfully enters, making fun of Roxy for not locking her second latch. She walks through the bio-hazardous clutter that Roxy left behind, and comes across one of Roxy's gaudy garments, which she puts up to her chest and says..

"OOOOH! This would look great on me!" before heading into the bedroom to search for more. Flash over to the open door, and Natalie enters, remarking that it's just like Roxy to leave the door open and leave the house a mess. Just as she starts to clean up, Niki comes out of the bedroom, and they stand face-to-face!

THE STOWAWAYS, THE DOC & THE ATTORNEY!!

Loonsey and Wackison face off as Allison warns Lindsay that she's not going anywhere! Lindsay tells her that she heard the report.. Sam's house had a fire and Jen is in the hospital!

Allison is not moved by the Rappaport tale of woe. She coldly reminds "the stupid blonde" that it was she who decided they should lay low, remember? Lindsay said that was before she knew that Jen was hurt.
So what? Allison says, she's not going to step into some open, well-lit place to risk being spotted and sending them both back to jail. Allison tells her that she has too many plans to tend to and she can't put them into motion in jail.

Lindsay promises that she'll be careful, and even if she gets caught, she won't ever mention Allison. She just wants to see Jen. Hasn't Allison ever felt so deeply for someone that she would do anything for them? Even go back to prison?/ Allison has a flashback of Dave, and then says to Lindsay that she feels that kind of love for Dave, and she understands.

She tells Lindsay that she's not leaving without a disguise. Despite Loonsey's protests, she turns Lindsay into a doctor. Lindsay leaves and Allison's mind starts to tick with her own agenda. She goes up into Rae-Ray's closet, and comes down donned in an outfit that instantly reminded me of Jane Jetson.

OMG, it was that cape thing! And those white pointy heels, and the awkward way she tried to walk in them! HILARIOUS!!

Anyway, she winds up at Llanfair, where a dazed Ben sees this space silhouette coming at him...

LLANVIEW ER: THE ROAD TO RECOVERY

Troy enters the hospital lounge and finds Nora's doctor getting a cup of coffee for herself. He asks her if Nora's chest X-rays came back. The doctor says they did, and they were negative. Troy asks the young woman if she prescribed Nora antibiotics..the doctor says, she did as a precaution.
Then he asks if she admitted Nora for observation..

The doctor says that she didn't see reason to do that. They get into a little debate, and Nora enters to save the woman from Troy's wrath. The doctor gratefully escapes and Troy and Nora share a hug. After the joke was over, Nora tells him that she had the strangest feeling that Lindsay was at the scene of the accident. Troy gives her a horrified look, and she says,

"I know, I know..it sounds crazy...but.."

Troy starts asking her if she got to see Lindsay's face at all at the scene. Nora said not really. It all happened so fast.. Troy drops the bomb.. Lindsay's escaped! Nora is horrified..but tries to assure herself that Lindsay couldn't have been the one who hit her..

The person who hit her threw a rope down for her..Lindsay wouldn't have done that..
Troy reminds her that she told him the person drove away.
After some back and forth debating between them, Nora realizes that Troy thinks Lindsay did hit her..and she gets a little spooked...

Troy assures her that he'll protect her, and they share a passionate kiss that Dr. Superbroomer just happened to walk in and see! Later, Nora walks out on to the balcony where Lindsay is, and says to Lindsay's disguised back..

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know anyone else was out here!"
