The Diner

At Carlotta's Diner, Christian beams with happiness as he tells his mother about how wonderful it is to be back with Jen.  He is giddy with joy and anticipation about taking Jen to Las Vegas for a getaway weekend. Carlotta protests and tells him he cannot do this. He is rather confused at her attitude and explains that they need to get away together just the two of them, alone. She tells him it is too expensive and a frivolous waste of his money. As they disagree about his plans Natalie walks into the diner. She is met with a very rude and cold greeting from Carlotta.  Carlotta is not happy that Natalie kept quiet all of these months and said nothing about Al being able to walk and makes her feelings known. Carlotta leaves the two of them sitting at the counter.

Natalie and Christian begin talking. Natalie starts to whine about her miserable life. (Can we get some cheese and crackers over here?) She is still upset about how badly "Viki" is treating her.  As Christian gets up to make a fresh pot of coffee, Natalie notices a small child being scolded by her mother. The woman is quite upset with the child and threatens to leave her there. As she gets up and walks out, the little girl begins to cry out, "Mommy, mommy." Natalie is reminded of a similar situation of being in Roxy's house, with Roxy nearly passed out on the sofa, screaming at her. As Natalie approaches the little girl, and agrees to help the little girl find her mommy, the woman comes back inside the diner. Natalie blasts her for leaving the little girl and the woman sharply barks back at Natalie to mind her own business.

Keri's Office at Llanview University

R.J. eavesdrops on Keri's telephone conversation with Antonio. She tells Antonio she loves him, quite to R.J.'s dismay. She ends her call and sees R.J. is there and is ready to make his appearance in her class. She thanks him again for agreeing to come forward and talk about his former life, his life of crime. (Little does she know!) He hands her some mail. One letter in particular causes her to moan out loud. He takes it from her and sees that it is a notice claiming she is $50,000 in debt. He is astonished. She remains quite calm. He tells her with the right connections he can fix this for her.

Keri tells him it is nothing more than a notice from the credit card company, which didn't surprise her, and she tells him that it was all a big mistake. Someone stole her credit cards when she was in grad school and ran them up leaving her with the bills to try an clean up. The credit card company did not act quickly enough and as a result, they had charged $50K on them. As they begin to talk about her class once again, Carlotta telephones. She asks Keri if she can come by and pick up a copy of Antonio's paper, the one he wrote for the McKenzie Award he'd received. Keri said it would be on her desk. As she leaves her office on her way to class, R.J. decides to put the $50K notice, inside Antonio's paper. He thinks Carlotta will solve his problem for him. After class, they return to her office, and she realizes that Carlotta has been there.

At the diner...

Carlotta has returned to the diner and she finds the notice in Antonio's paper. Carlotta is in shock.

The Sting...

During the sting operation, Seth, Jessica, Antonio and Hank are sitting in the police van, staking out Roxy's house. Antonio receives a call, notifying him that Allison has taken the bait and was spotted in Philadelphia renting a car and was on her way. Jessica is upset because she realizes that Roxy is only after the money. As they discuss the plan to bust Allison and Roxy for attempting to murder Seth and Jessica by running them off the road, Hank and Antonio ask Jessica if she is sure she can do this? She reassures them she can, opens the van door and goes to the house. The sting begins.

Jessica knocks on Roxy's front door, and is greeted by a very gleeful and cheery Roxy, gushing uncontrollably about the money. She tells Jess she is happy to be on her way to Green Acres. Jessica corrects her and Roxy asks Jess if she has the check. Roxy wants to see it, but Jessica asks if she will do a favor for her. Jessica tells Roxy that the local news station is running a story on them and the news crew is on their way. She decided to come early to ask Roxy to do the story with her, and she tells Roxy that she will have to wear a microphone so the crew can get good sound bites.

Roxy gets very defensive and freaks out. She yells at Jessica that she knows what Jessica is trying to do. Jessica finally realizes that Roxy is upset by how bad she looks. Roxy tells her she cannot look as bad as she does and go on television. Roxy insists that she be allowed to go fix herself up. Jessica's cell phone rings. It is Antonio telling her she does not have anymore time. Allison has arrived early.

Jessica tells the caller she understands and tells Roxy it is the news crew and they are lost. She needs to go outside and wait for them but first she must get Roxy wired with the microphone. However, Roxy takes off to put on more make up and changes her clothes. When she finally reappears Jessica wires her for sound and quickly leaves. There is a knock at the door. Roxy opens the door and Allison is standing there with her hand out once again demanding to know where her half of the money is.

Roxy demands to know why she has come back, and Allison tells her she is entitled to half of the money Jessica is giving her. They argue about the money. They argue about their plan. Roxy refuses to split anything with Allison for all she has done to her. As they argue Allison grabs Roxy. Allison tells Roxy that she had better not double cross her or she will run her off the road like she did Seth and Jessica. Allison threatens Roxy and tells her she will make sure that this time, there will be no survivors. As Roxy pulls away, she tells Allison to be careful and not mess with her clothes or her microphone. The word "microphone" runs shivers of panic through Allison. She knows immediately what has happened.

The Hotel

After their night of love making Niki watches Ben as he sleeps. As she starts to talk to herself and fantasize about him, she knows that this cannot happen again. Ben begins to wake up. As he sees her sitting there he tells her how amazing she was last night. He says she was amazing but there was something missing and he knows what it was.

Niki chimes in and tells him she knows it probably her problems with how horrible she had been feeling and treating everyone lately. Ben tells her she was so good but it was as if her body was there but heart wasn't. He decides he wants to stay there all day in bed together. Niki panics. She realizes she cannot take the chance. He decides to go take a shower.

Niki calls down to room service for breakfast. She then telephones Jordan, who is rather perturbed with her at the moment. She tells Niki she waited the entire night for her to call. Niki pleads with her to help her get rid of her husband and begs Jordan to help her get rid of him. As the words come out of her mouth, Ben walks in on her conversation and Niki quickly covers. She pretends she is talking to someone at the Banner, and Jordan realizes Ben must have come into the room. She agrees to come help and tells Niki she is on her way. Ben returns to his shower and room service arrives.

In great Niki fashion, she greets the waiter with a smile and a come on, hitting on the poor lad as if he were a prime cut of meat. (Down girl! Have you no shame woman? Oh, that's right, you don't!) Niki calls out to Ben and asks him if he wants coffee. He does, giving her the chance to drug his coffee. She takes the cup to the door and hands it to him admiring what she sees in the process.

Niki starts to daydream of being with Renee and needing back into her room. She has forgotten her keys and needs Renee to let her in. As soon as Renee opens the door, they spy Jordan in bed with Ben. Niki relishes her plan to herself. Ben comes back into the room, and complains of being extremely tired and afraid he is going to fall asleep. She tells him to go ahead and rest and she will be back very soon. Outside in the corridor Niki meets Jordan, hands her the key to the room. She tells Jordan to get to work and it better be good.

Later, Niki as Viki walks down the hall with Renee, claiming she has forgotten her key. Just as Jordan slips into bed beside Ben, Renee puts the key into the lock...
