Jen and Cris at the Break Bar

Cris tells Jen that she doesn’t have to tell him anything if she doesn’t want to.  She asks him if he’s still mad at her for kicking him out of her house earlier.  She says it was stupid of her to do that and that she wants to tell him everything.  She is ready to tell him everything, because she needs to talk to someone who she cares about and trusts.  He asks her what she lied to him about before.  She says she hated lying and he tells her he just wants to help her.  She says she never wanted anybody to know the truth, but he’s not just anybody.  She tells him that Lanie killed her grandfather.  She tells him that she loved her grandfather, that he had big hands and a big laugh.  She tells him the story she got from Lindsay about how Lanie killed her grandfather…how he had changed his will leaving everything to Lanie and then she killed him.  Cris wonders why Lanie would have a motive to kill him if he was leaving everything to her.  Jen also tells him that her grandfather was dying.  She says she thinks for once her mother was right and that maybe if Lanie did kill her grandfather, then she should go to jail for killing Colin, too.  She told Cris that Colin knew about Lanie killing her grandfather.  Cris tells her that Lindsay has lied about so many things before.  She tells him that she needs the real truth and then she will know what to do.  She also tells him that she liked him when she first met him but she didn’t know him and Will and her mother were telling her to stay away from him…so she thought she might not be able to trust him…but now she knows she can.

Later, Seth comes back to the bar when Cris and Jen are talking and Jen says she has to leave.  Seth asks Cris if that was Jen, the girl he told him about, and Cris says that it is and that she’s in trouble and has problems.  Seth asks him if she’s pregnant and Cris says she’s not, but that he has to find a way to help her.  He tells Seth that people are trying to influence her and Seth asks him what he’s going to do about it…Cris says he’s not going to let them.

Ben, Gina, Viki & James

Ben and Gina are in her living room.  He is setting Gina up by pretending.  He tells her that she must think he’s pretty stupid.  She tells him no, he’s not stupid.  He says he was stupid for not seeing what was going on.  She asks what is going on.

Viki/Jean and James are watching this on the monitor in the basement and Jean asks him to shut it off.  He questions her not being able to watch it and she tells him that she can’t stand to watch it because it’s a tedious display of emotions.

Ben tells Gina that it’s over for he and Viki.  He says he should have known that they wouldn’t last….that a guy like him had not right to think he could have a woman like Viki in his life.  Gina tells him that’s not true…that Viki doesn’t deserve him.  She throws her arms around him and hugs him.  She thinks she’s got him back.  He pushes her off him, telling her he doesn’t want her pity.  She says she doesn’t pity him.  She asks if he’s seen Viki.  He tells her that she couldn’t even stand for him to touch her…like his touch made her skin crawl…like he was beneath her.  Gina tells him that he’s not beneath her…that she’s beneath him.  She tells Ben that Viki is not for him, that she doesn’t understand him or their background….but SHE does.  Ben tells her that he doesn’t know what he would have done if he didn’t have her to talk to.  Gina says he’s always had her.  They start kissing and Ben asks her if they are alone.  She says the guards are around, that she needs them, but she goes to get rid of them.  Ben just stays there waiting for her.

Viki takes a scarf and covers the screen and James removes it.  He asks her if she has trouble seeing Gina with Ben and she says no….that it’s boring.  He says, “I want to see it.  I want to see what “goes down” up there so I know what to do with you, Viki, Jean, whoever you are.”

Gina tells Ben she wants him to feel at home in her house.  He thinks that would be nice.  He tells her that she has never let him down and she says she never will.  He tells her that Viki has given him the insight to see how alike he and Gina are.  Gina tells him that they are cut from the same cloth.  She tells him, “You’re finally home and nobody can ever make you feel this good.”  They are coming very close to kissing again and Ben wraps his hands around her neck and starts to strangle her.  He says, “This does feel good, Gina…now tell me where my wife is!”

James pulls out his gun and Viki asks what he’s doing.  He tells her, “I’m doing what Miss Gina wanted me to do…Too bad your husband couldn’t do the same.”

Ben tells Gina to tell him where Viki is or he’ll kill her.  She begs him,  “Don’t do this to us.”  He screams at her that there is no us…and that she should get over it.  She tells him he doesn’t want to do this and he says, “Are you threatening me, Gina?…Like you threatened Viki and her children?  Jessica is safe.  She’s away somewhere that you can’t find her so you have no leverage left.”  At this point Gina is furious and says, “Fine, you want Viki…I’ll give you more Viki that you ever dreamed of.”  Ben drags her to the basement and yells for Viki.  Of course there is no answer and he tells Gina to open the door before he breaks it down.  Gina tells him that he can go in, but he won’t like what he sees.

Kelly, Roseanne & Antonio

Antonio wants to know what is going on and Kelly starts to talk.  Roseanne tells her to shut up.  Kelly tells her that he won’t be able to forgive what she did.  Roseanne doesn’t listen to her and Antonio keeps asking what’s going on.  Roseanne tells him that Kelly knows nothing and Kelly says that she knows what Roseanne has done.  Antonio tells them to knock it off.  Kelly starts to say that she is doing this for Sophia, because she promised to get the truth out.  Roseanne tells her that Sophia is a liar and a manipulator.  Kelly says, “Sophia knows who the mole is.”  Antonio is starting to get the picture and he asks Kelly to leave.  She gladly leaves, telling him that she never wanted to be in the middle of this anyway and that she is doing this for Sophia.

Antonio wants the truth and Roseanne tells him it isn’t what he thinks.  She tells him that Sophia would do anything to keep them apart and he yells at her, telling her that Sophia was a good cop….IS a good cop and that he believes she knows who the mole is.  He says that all this time he didn’t listen to her and she felt she couldn’t come to him because of his feelings for Roseanne and that he was blind.  He tells her he thinks the mole is her and asks if he’s wrong.  He finally makes her admit it and he let her have it about taking money from RJ and putting so many people in danger.  She told him that RJ blackmailed her, etc., etc. and Antonio didn’t want to hear any of her excuses.  He told her that RJ’s money meant more to her than he did.  She asks him what he’s going to do and then she tells him she loves him.

Nora & RJ

Nora puts the envelope back next to RJ’s stereo and lets herself out.  As she’s leaving, RJ catches her at the door…but he thinks she’s on her way in, not on her way out.  He grabs her by the wrist.  He says he expects that from Bo and Hank, but not from her.  She asks him why he is always seen with Lindsay and he tells her he has nothing going on with Lindsay.  She says that Colin thinks he had something to do with Lindsay and that’s why he was at Colin’s dinner party.  RJ tells her that he wants her to accept Melanie’s confession and move on.  He says that with Bo’s woman in jail, there would be a clear path for her to get back with Bo.  She tells him she’s not interested in that…she’s interested in her lost memories that died with Colin.  She tells him that it’s not over for her and that what Lindsay did haunts her.  She keeps insisting that he was involved with Lindsay and he grabs her by the wrist and brings her inside the apartment.  He tells her that he hated Lindsay and Colin for what they did to her and that he’s glad Colin is dead.  He says he doesn’t want anything to happen to her and that she should call off the dogs because next time he won’t stop with a little twist of her wrist.  Then he throws her out.

RJ goes inside again and goes to the envelope and opens it up.  He looks inside and wonders if Nora was just coming into his apartment, or if she was leaving when he got there.  He flashes back to the night Colin died and remembers walking into Colin’s house.  The body was not on the floor in his flashback, but the envelope with the money was, as if it had fallen out of Colin’s pocket.  He thinks to himself that he never should have gone out that night.

Melanie and Sam

Melanie comes home with Sam and is grateful to have a place to stay.  She can’t go back to Bo’s apartment.  Sam asks her if she wants to talk.  She says she had one good thing in her life and now she’s close to being charged with murder, but now Bo has her almost convinced that she didn’t kill Colin.

Melanie shows Sam the paper where she wrote down all the events from the night Colin died.  He notices that she wrote down that she saw a car there.  He looks worried.  He asks her what she saw and she said she saw a dark car with headlights, but it was dark and that’s all she could see.  Sam looks guilty, or like he knows something and Melanie asks him if he was there.   Then she remembers that he was there, but that he supposedly got there after Colin’s body was gone and only found Nora there.  Melanie says that maybe Bo was right…maybe whoever came after her to Colin’s house did kill Colin.

Melanie tells Sam that she hopes she gets another chance with Bo when this is all over, but she still lied to him about a lot of things, even if she didn’t kill Colin.  Then she wonders if the killer is someone she knows and loves.

Nora and Sam

Nora goes to Sam’s house and tells him that she went to RJ’s house.  Sam is shocked and angry that she would take such a chance and risk getting caught.  He tells her that he would feel terrible if anything happened to her.  He told her to think about Matthew and she said, “I know…I know I’m crazy.”  She told him that RJ thought she was coming to, not leaving his house.  She tells him about the money and that she took a sample of the money and had it tested and it had RJ’s and Colin’s fingerprints on it.  She also told him there was a note on the money with numbers on it that was not in RJ’s handwriting.  She said she researched the numbers and they lead to an offshore account that is in Colin’s name.  Sam wonders how RJ knew Colin had that money and Nora says that maybe he knew from the person who probably gave Colin the money…Lindsay…and RJ wanted to get the money back.

Sam makes Nora promise that she won’t do anything like that again.  She agrees, but she gets back to Colin’s murder saying that neither Lanie nor Lindsay could have moved Colin’s body alone….but RJ could have.

Nora says she just wants it to be over and Sam agrees.  He leaves the house, saying that there is something he has to do.  Sam shows up at RJ’s door and says, “You tell me what happened the night Colin was killed.”  RJ says, “You know what happened, Sam.”

Lanie comes downstairs and finds Nora.  Nora is there to talk about Melanie’s case regarding her father, but Lanie says she doesn’t really want to talk about her father right now.  She tells Nora she gave the ring back to Bo.  Nora tells her to give her a call when she wants to talk…and Nora leaves.

Jen comes back to the house and find Lanie and tells her that she needs to talk to her and she needs to know the truth.
