COURTROOM

The players took their places, and Todd's legion of reporter's descended on Blair! She was hit from all sides with invasive questions until Hank told Todd that no reporters were allowed in the courtroom! 

'WHINE' COUNTRY!

Max yelled from inside the locked wine cellar that he was going to begin breaking expensive bottles if someone didn't open the door! On the other side listening, Gabrielle informed him she wasn't about to let him spill his guts to the police concerning Asa! It reminded her of 'another time' when someone was depending on his testimony...her! 

GATE KEEPER'S COTTAGE

Jean was ready to leave Gina's, but Gina wasn't certain Ben would turn to 'her' and not 'Viki'! She reminded 'Jean' that this would be dangerous for everyone, especially Jessica! Jean didn't feel that Ben was 'suicidal' over her! What would happen if Ben hadn't believed her performance, he was a smart man! What if he wanted to 'fight for Viki'! Would 'Jean' mind if Jessica met up with a 'small mishap', to which Jean agreed! Gina phoned 'Ricky' the man outside Jess and Will's loft. She
told him to have his silencer at the ready and to wait for further instruction!

RECAPTURED ROMANCE

Jessica welcomed Will to a loft that was nearly filled with flowers! As the two spoke, Gina's gunman waited outside the door! Jess was sorry they had been 'awkward' with each other lately. She knew that Will would explain everything when he felt comfortable with it. She had been keeping secrets too! She had wanted to get back at Cristian, that's why she told Al to ask Jen out! She was over him, but it was hard to see someone you once loved, be happy with someone else. She surprised him by having made a CD of songs that told the 'story' of their lives together and played it for him.

BEN & BLONDIE

At Crossroads, Ben kept turning 'Viki's' words over in his mind. It seemed as though she were trying to give him a message! There wasn't any way Viki could have forgotten details of their time in the attic or of their first meeting! Why had she been holding on to a pair of glasses! As he remembered her words about a 'threat' to her daughter the message finally sank in!

CALL MY BLUFF!

'Jean' told Gina that it was foolish to hurt Jessica, it could draw attention by association! Gina wanted to know why, if Jean could be 'Viki', couldn't Viki 'be' Jean! 

'WHINE' COUNTRY

Max did not like Gabrielle's recall of the time he had testified for her! She insisted he was still the same person, he had never changed! This was his way of getting close to Blair! Max was doing this just for the sake of the baby, nothing more! Todd was intent on sending Blair to prison and she was facing twenty years! By the time she got out, their child would be grown! Gabrielle wouldn't honestly wish that on another person, and opened the wine cellar door! 

'TO TELL THE TRUTH'

In the courtroom Blair continued to be anxious when Max didn't show up on schedule! When Sam walked outside to phone him, Blair wrote Todd a note saying she had lied and the baby was 'his'. Kelly found the note and crumpled it up, knowing that Todd was bent on destroying Blair! He would get custody of the baby too and Blair would be in prison! Sam asked Todd to testify that he hadn't actually seen Blair shoot Max, she could have picked up the gun after the fact!

Sam stood before the judge unable to produce 'new evidence' because his witness, Max, was a 'no show'! He moved for a postponement, but the judge denied it. When Hank called Todd to the stand, Blair demanded to know what he had done with Max!

...OLLIE, OXEN FREE!

Gabrielle freed Max, who realized she was jealous of Blair, he was the only man she had ever loved! That's why she had gone to a nunnery, her love for him! Gabrielle said Max couldn't get over her, but he had! She wanted to know why he was standing in the wine cellar talking to her when he could be helping Blair! As he turned to leave, the door slammed shut, with both of them inside! 

'BUSY SIGNAL'!

Jessica and Will were entwined beneath the sheets, music playing, as Will knocked the phone off the hook. Ben picked up his phone and tried to give Jess a warning call, but couldn't get through! He called Renee to ask if Viki were staying at the Palace but no one seemed to have a handle on where she might be. 

'FADE TO BLACK'

Jean told Gina that she knew nothing about 'D.I.D.'! Viki could not 'be' Jean, she didn't know anything about her! Whatever she had learned had been from therapy and that would be limited, at best! Viki would have no memory or knowledge of a 'Jean' personality, but 'Jean' had been studying Viki and her life, for years! When Gina remained unconvinced Jean told her to "go rent 'Sybil'!" She then suggested that if Gina hurt Jessica, it would be 'messy' and she liked order! Murder was bloody and there would be a body and the police! If Ben ever made the connection between the two, whatever relationship they had would end! She assured Gina she had no 'personal interest' in Jessica's well being. Handing her the phone, Gina instructed 'Jean' to "push the redial button and tell Richard to kill Jessica!"

'BUSY SIGNAL'

The call from 'Jean' was received by Richard, outside of Jess' apartment door. He refused to listen at first, because he only accepted instructions from Gina herself, but Jean was very convincing! She told him to get his gun and silencer ready and was about to give him his 'task' when Gina abruptly grabbed the phone and told him to walk away! He shrugged and began to walk, but first bumped into Ben who was just arriving!

'COURTING' DISASTER!

Hank requested time to speak to his witness and warned Todd to respond only to his questions and not to 'run off at the mouth' as usual! Todd gave him every assurance that his testimony would send Blair away for good. Sam walked outside to phone Max, who still hadn't shown up and Todd followed.

'BUSY SIGNAL'

Jessica wondered aloud to Will that she felt so 'safe', did he think that love could actually protect people from harm! Outside the door, Ben noticed the man who bumped his shoulder and he looked familiar! After thinking a bit he remembered the man's face from the night at Crossroads when 'Viki' broke up with him! 

'WHINE' CELLAR

Max pounded on the door and threatened while outside, Starr giggled and smiled! Gabrielle wasn't anxious, prison had taught her how to relax and wait! Max turned to her and said he thought she still wanted him! Disturbingly enough, she agreed!
