One Life to Live Recap for Monday, December 3, 2001

Cris, Antonio, Jenn, Keith

Cris and Antonio are talking about Jenn and they think she went back to Llanview.  Cris says he would feel better if Antonio were back home watching out for Jenn, but Antonio says he can’t be in two places at once and he is about to bust Keith.  He says they’ve had someone following him and know where he lives and they’re going to take him down tonight.  Cris wants to be in on it but Antonio tells him he can’t.  Cris convinces Antonio to take him along, telling him that Keith ruined his life and made him leave the woman he loves and he wants to be there when they arrest him.  Antonio agrees to let him come along.

At the modeling agency, Seth goes in and asks Peg if Jenn is there.  Seth doesn’t know that Keith followed him.  Peg doesn’t tell him anything and doesn’t want to give him any information.  He says it’s important but Peg is not impressed.  He leaves a note for Jenn saying he needs to find Cris and Peg throws the note in the trash.  Then Jenn shows up and Peg tells her someone was looking for her, but Peg doesn’t remember who he is.  Jenn wonders if it was Cris.  Peg says it wasn’t.  Jenn walks out the door of the agency and runs into Keith.  He asks if she remembers him and she tells him she does remember him from the university.  She asks what he’s doing in New York and he says he’s giving in his headshots to try get some modeling work.  He asks if she’s going to meet her boyfriend and she starts to say she doesn’t have one, but she stops herself and says that he’s busy right now.  She tells him she has to go back inside to get some things she needs for a shoot in the park tomorrow and he leaves.  She goes back inside and Al comes to meet her.  Jenn tells Peg that some guy she met in the hall creeped her out and she made up that she had a boyfriend.  Peg tells her that the guy who came looking for her left a note and pointed to the trash, but it was empty.  The secretary had taken out the trash…so Jenn didn’t find out that Seth was looking for her.

Seth goes back to his apartment and turns on the radio…Antonio and Cris follow him and are outside his apartment.  They bust down the door and Keith has already gone out the window and down the fire escape.  The phone rings and Cris picks it up…it’s Keith, gloating that they didn’t catch him and he asks Cris to turn down his radio.  Cris tells him to come back and face him like a man and Keith says he’s stupid because he knows Antonio is waiting to arrest him…but Keith promises to see him soon.

Later, Keith sees an ad posted for the shoot where Jenn will be modeling the next day, and he plans to be there.

Nora and Sam

Nora comes home from Troy’s and she’s very happy.  Troy calls and tells her she should think about taking the treatment again so she can remember what Lindsay did to her.  Nora says she doesn’t want to do that…she has everything she wants and she doesn’t want to dwell in the past.  She wants her present and future with Sam and Matthew.  Troy says he understands, but he tells her Lindsay should go to jail for what she did because Nora will always think about what Lindsay did to her.  Nora says that she probably will think about it, but she won’t let it run her life…and she feels that Lindsay is already “serving time” because she’s lost everyone who is important to her in her life.  Troy says he’s going to keep the drug, just in case.

Sam comes over with Matthew, who is getting ready for a sleepover at his friend’s house.  Maryann takes him and Sam and Nora are alone.  Nora is very happy after remember Sam and Matthew and Sam is happy they are alone.  He tells her he bought her something and she’s anxious to know what it is.  He dims all the lights and lights some candles and she just looks at him.  He comes over to where she’s sitting on the couch and starts kissing her face…then he brings out a blue velvet box.  She asks why he bought her something and he says it’s to celebrate their decision to go forward with their lives.  Nora feels guilty for having lied to him and says she can’t accept the gift because she’s been lying.  Sam is surprised and wonders what she lied about.  She can’t quite get the words out and he jumps to conclusions thinking it’s something to do with Troy and he’s upset that she’s keeping something from him.  He gets very excited and angry about Troy and Nora tells him that she’s not having an affair with Troy, although she was with him.  Sam says he knows she’s not having an affair with Troy, but she felt she had to lie to him about being with Troy and he’s mad about that.  Before Nora can tell him what really happened, Sam gets his jacket and leaves, saying he doesn’t know where things stand.

Troy and Lindsay

Troy goes to Lindsay’s for their supposed date and he brings a bottle of wine.  She expects to go out, but he wants to have some wine first.  They drink the wine and talk and he tells her he’d like to show the work of an African artist he’s seen at her gallery for the fundraiser.  She knows of the artist…he’s a photographer…and she is very excited to have his show at her gallery, saying he will bring in a lot of money.  They start talking and Troy asks he if she’s over Sam…she ask him what he feels about Nora.  He tells her that at first he was intrigued by Nora, but that’s over.  Lindsay admits to him that Sam married her when he was on the rebound and still in love with Nora and she could never live up to that.  She also says that Nora ruined her life with Sam, whom she loved so much, and then she ruined her life with Bo.  She tells Troy that that’s the reason she and Nora hate each other.  Troy is playing along, letting Lindsay pour out her heart and after a while they finished the wine.  Troy says it’s getting late and she tells him he promised her dinner.  He tells her that it’s her fault…that the time flew by because she’s so charming and interesting.  She seems to be buying the whole thing and then he says he has to leave, but they’ll do dinner another night.  Lindsay is intrigued by his visit.

Bo, Gabby and Max

Gabrielle and Bo are talking and he tells her about the poison being found in the pills.  He tells her that a masking agent was used so that no one would notice what really killed Asa, unless they were looking for it.  He shows her the pill bottle he found at the cabin and she says she’s never seen it before.  Bo says it looks like every other pill bottle and she says that she paid very careful attention to Asa’s medicine and she knows she’s never seen that bottle.  He tells her he thinks she killed Asa and she should confess and she is a bit shaken…of course, denying it all.

Max comes in and tells Bo to stop harassing Gabby and that they all know Asa died of a heart attack.  Bo tells him differently and Max is defending Gabby at any cost.  Bo tells Gabby she’s running out of chances to fess up and as Bo leaves, he tells Max that there’s not reason for him to go down for what Gabrielle did.  Max goes back in to Gabby and she’s drinking again and coming unglued. She fears that they are going to be arrested and Max tells her that if Bo were going to arrest them, they’d already be in the squad car.  Max tells her it’s time to come clean.  He says he knows she killed Asa and he will do anything to protect her because he knows she was protecting him and that she reunited him with Al.  He says that no matter what happens, he will not let her go to jail.  She is shocked and tells him she didn’t kill Asa and so he must have done it.  He swears he didn’t do it and they both realize that neither one of them killed Asa.

The last scene shows Asa, looking better than ever, sitting back relaxing somewhere and puffing on a big cigar.  He’s very much alive.
