BETRAYAL..

Cris told Jess that he had 'taken' her letter from Will. Jess asked if he
had been trying to protect her, because Will couldn't hurt her now! He
told her that Will had called while they were at the hospital and he knew
what the letter was going to say. Jess read the letter, which said that
Cris had used her mom's illness to get him to break his promise. Cris had
known how much it would hurt Jess!

Will...walked into a barn, and tried to hide himself from view. From his
vantage point, he watched a pair of slender legs in riding boots enter
the room.

COURTROOM FIASCO (One)

Melanie asked Sam if he were 'alright', because she had never seen him so
angry! He told her that Lindsay and Colin were lying and now he couldn't
find Nora because Asa had called for this hearing! Ben arrived and Sam
told him that he was needed for 'family unity'. Judge Fitzwater was to
preside over the case, and he knew she wasn't in Asa's pocket!

Asa came striding down the hallway with Max in tow, he said they were
going to have Matthew tested! They would 'lose a Rappaport and gain a
Buchanan!' Lindsay came after him, upset that she had been subpoenaed!
She told him she would not testify in open court about the first DNA
results! Max said it was all her fault anyway, she had been the one to
tell Asa she would give him a grandson! Melanie walked over and defended
Lindsay to Asa, but when Lindsay asked her sister if she believed her,
she didn't respond.

Judge Frederick J. Simmons was presiding! Ben leaned over Sam's shoulder
and said this was 'Asa's buddy'! This was the judge who had ordered the
test in the first place!

R.J.'S REVENGE?

R.J. told Sophia, Antonio and Roseanne to 'step aside' and tried to leave
his apartment. Antonio wouldn't budge, he said they wanted to have a look
around. R.J. said they needed a warrant but Sophia said this was an
'exigent circumstance'. They believed a crime was being committed and
there was a victim in need of rescue! R.J. said they weren't really cops,
but they had been sworn in that morning! He asked to see their badges,
and she said they only had temporary I.D.'s until their badges showed up!
She 'tossed' the I.D. to the floor and 'stepped in' to retrieve it! They
all saw Todd!

HOSPITAL...

Kevin asked if Kelly were 'up for company' and she smiled and told him
that painkillers were 'good'. Kevin said he wanted some too, but she told
him that you had to get shot first! He said that she could have died, but
she told him she would do it again in  a heartbeat...

COURTROOM FIASCO... (Two)

Sam demanded that the judge 'recuse himself' on the grounds of personal
bias, because he was the same person who had ordered the paternity suit!
This motion was denied! Sam said he was filing a 'continuing objection',
based on an established pattern of personal bias!

Asa maintained that his son Bo had asked him to handle this affair while
he was out of the country. The judge agreed that a new test ought to be
done. Sam gave him a copy of the DNA results, and said that Asa offered
no proof but the allegation that he was Matthew's 'grandfather!' Asa said
Sam should ask 'her', and stood and pointed to Lindsay!

BOMB SQUAD...

Sophia pulled the tape from Todd's mouth and Antonio said he was calling
the bomb squad! He ordered everyone out of the apartment, but she said
she wasn't leaving her 'partner'!

BETRAYAL..

Jess asked Cris if the letter were true. He told her that the 'facts'
were right, but that there was more to it than Will had said...

Will hid as the girl gathered her things and the constable walked in. He
said he was looking for someone, an American lad...

Jess wanted to know how Cris could do this to her! He said he didn't lie
to Will, he thought her mom was dying! She said that Will had acted
because of Cris! She went ballistic, telling Cris that had taken the
phone call behind her back, stolen her letter, and didn't tell her the
truth!

HOSPITAL...

Kevin told Kelly that she could have died, because of him! She said that
when she'd lost Ian and Drew she thought she was cursed, and then Joey
had been shot! She thought that meant someone was going to die, because
she loved them! She didn't want to lose Kevin! He said he owed her one,
he owed her his life...

COURTROOM FIASCO... (Three)

Lindsay was called to the stand, and before she could reach it, she
stopped to ask Sam for his help because she had been subpoenaed! Sam told
the judge that his not being notified that Lindsay was called would
affect his providing an adequate defense! He was overruled, as this was
not a criminal hearing! Impatient, Asa told his lawyer to 'sit' and acted
as his own council! His first question to Lindsay was whether she had
'messed with the test'! She refused to answer, because it might
incriminate her! The judge directed her to answer the question, Sam began
to object and a voice was heard from the back of the courtroom. The voice
belonged to Bo, who told Lindsay not to answer!

BOMB SQUAD...

R.J. said the bomb was 'window putty', that it was 'payback' for the
country club! He wanted Todd to 'sweat', wondering if he were going to
die! Antonio said he was arresting R.J. and Todd, who demanded to be 'let
go' because he was a 'victim'! Antonio reminded him that he was 'wanted'
for felony charges from New Year's Eve!

HOSPITAL...

Kevin kissed Kelly and she said "Wow"! He said he should have kissed her
like that sooner, maybe she wouldn't have wanted to leave. She asked
about Joey and he said it had been Joey who came and got him. She asked
if he thought Joey would be okay, and he thought that he would be, in
time. 'He,' wouldn't be okay, without her, he loved her! She smiled, and
said she loved him too...

BETRAYAL...

Jessica was appalled that Cris seemed to want her to 'forgive him'! Why
hadn't he told her about the lie Todd told him, and that he had told to
Will! He  said he wanted to protect her, but she wanted to know if he had
lied to get her into bed! She recalled that although her mother was
'dying' there had been time for that to happen! He countered with wanting
to know if it had happened because Will had rejected her! She said that
was disgusting and that the wedding was off! There would be no wedding,
not then, not ever!

COURTROOM FIASCO...(Four)

Asa told Bo that he had the chance now, to get his son back. Bo told the
judge that he and Mr. Rappaport wanted the matter handled privately and
if Asa continued to meddle, they would get a court order to keep him away
from all three of them: Mr. Rappaport, Matthew and himself! The judge
rescinded the previous order, and Bo told him that Asa was not acting on
his behalf! Asa still pressured the judge for the test!

IRELAND...

Will tried to hide from the constable, and when he had gone the girl
called out to him. She told him the constable was gone and he could come
out now!

Cris asked Jess not to call off the wedding, but she told him that their
conversation was 'over'! She got a suitcase, began to pack her clothes
and said she was going to find Will!

DASTARDLY DUO!

R.J., speaking from his jail cell, demanded to see Hank, but was told
that his brother was away! He was indignant that Manning had shot at him,
they had busted into his place, and now 'he' was in jail! Todd, in a
matching cell, piped in that he wanted to 'go', he had 'something
important' to do! Sophia told R.J. that he should be in a jail cell for
his assault on Antonio at the docks!

COURTROOM FINALE...

Asa 'told' the judge he'd better get the order to go through! Sam said
that if he made this ruling, that he, Bo and all parties of interest
would demand a complete investigation. There would be a review of all the
judge's recent rulings, including Will's sentencing, and then on to the
Ethics Board and the DA! The judge rescinded his previous order, and Asa
told him that he would live to regret it! As he left he told Sam that it
'wasn't over'! Sam told Bo that there was something he should know, it
was about Nora...

FINAL MOMENTS...

Kevin and Kelly lay side by side in the hospital bed, and she was
laughing. She told him she was glad she'd been shot, if she hadn't she
would be gone and miserable and they wouldn't be together! Kevin said he
was going to make sure that they were together for a very long time!

Jess told Cris as she was packing that he had lied to her repeatedly! She
picked up her bag and said she was going to find Will and he'd better not
think about following her, but Cris had other ideas!

In Ireland, the girl in the barn called to Will and he stepped into view.
She said she'd spotted him when she came in and he wondered why she
hadn't turned him in. She said she 'might still', unless he gave her a
good reason not to!

Todd demanded to be set free, it was a matter of life and death! Antonio
said that he was going nowhere! He said he wanted his lawyer, Sam
Rappaport, right away!

Lindsay stood behind Bo, and tried to tell him that this wasn't the
'right time', but Sam told Bo to brace himself for some news...He had
proof that Nora was alive!
