Kassie DePaiva was born March 21, 1961 in Morganfield, Kentucky.
Her birth name is Katherine Virginia Wesley.
She is 5' 10" tall.
Attended both Indiana University and UCLA.
After college, DePaiva toured the Orient with the USO.
Was married to Richard Hankins from 1988 to 1995.
Kassie is now married to One Life to Live co-star James DePaiva (Max Holden), and the couple gave birth to a son James Quentin (J.Q.) on May 12, 1997.
DePaiva's son J.Q. was diagnosed with a hearing impediment when he was 14 months old, and now hears with the aid of a Nucleus cochlear implant which was implanted in January 1999.
Has a step-daughter Dreama, who is James DePaivia's child from a previous marriage to actress Misty Rowe.
In August of 2001, Kassie performed at the Grand Ole Opera. The best part she says was reuniting with Loretta Lynn, whom she has worked with once before when Kassie was only 19.
DePaiva is an avid golfer, and once co-hosted the syndicated show, THE PRO SHOP.
Wed on March 31, 1996 to James DePaiva.
Was named Mom of the Month by iParenting.com, in February 2000.
