One Life To Live Recap:–Thursday, March 25, 2004 By Kaydee

Note to readers: I was recently informed by a loyal reader that last week's recap was filled with some typos and would like to apologize to anyone who felt that my work was not at its best. Anyone who knows me knows that I take it to heart to deliver as detailed a recap as possible. My 7-year-old had sustained an injury that required 14 stitches beneath her foot to repair, and my 6-year-old son had been stricken with very high fevers at the same time, so I was not at my best that day. Rather than request a day off from recapping, I rushed through my typing process to make my deadline. I apologize for what mistakes may have come out of that. Thank you, LJ, for enjoying my work so much that you noticed and made me aware of the situation. Now, let's board Kaydee's Llanview tour bus and start a new journey.....

LLANVIEW TEEN BEAT: $30-MILLION -DOLLARS OR BUST!!

We open with River and Adrianna making out on the couch. Their heated session comes to an abrupt end as David and Dorian enter. David is carrying a noisy, giggling Dorian, and they make jokes about grooms carrying brides over the threshold, although they're not officially wed, and so on. They get into the family room, where they immediately take note of the teens disheveled apparel and David comments that he wonders what they interrupted with their arrival.

Dorian reminds Adrianna of the promise she made about not running off with River to get married, to which Adrianna strongly replies that she has kept her promise. Dorian goes on to tell her that she also needs to refrain from putting herself in a situation that may REQUIRE her to get married...get the drift? River rants to Dorian, telling her that they already feel married, but they haven't done anything to break their promise to her. Dorian verbally scuffles with him for a bit, telling him that her "daughter" is too young to be giving herself away before she's married.

The two teens leave into the foyer while David and Dorian sit on the couch to go over their money-squandering plot. They confirm that their offshore accounts have received the deposits, and David warns her that she should just transfer it all away, since Antonio is on their trail. Dorian tells him that Antonio is the exact reason why they have to remain cautious. Large deposits arouse suspicion, and can lead to account audits.

Out in the hall, River assures Adrianna that she won't scare him away because she wants to wait until their married to have sex, and then manages to convince Adrianna to slip out with him to Ultraviolet to see Riley's band play. Adrianna, a bit hesitant at first, finally agrees.

Back in the family room, Dorian hears the door slam, and tells David that she's worried that the teens slipped off to be alone. David tells her to lighten up and give the kids a break for one night. Dorian isn't too happy about that, and she gets up and heads out into the foyer, where she finds a note from Adrianna on the table, telling her that she went out with River, be back soon. She babbles a complaint, then looks down at the floor and notices a second note that had been slipped under the front door. She opens up the envelope and is disturbed by the letter inside.

A bit later, she is on the phone with someone named Beverly, arranging travel plans, and she hangs up just as David comes down the steps. He questions her as to why she is talking to her travel agent, and she lies, saying that she just received a letter from a good friend in Alberquerque who needs surgery. Her friend isn't doing too well, and she has to leave right away. David offers to go with her, and despite all of her subtle attempts to decline the offer, David somehow ends up heading upstairs to pack. As they await the car service in the family room, drinking champagne, David groggily rambles on about not remembering her having any friends in Alberquerque. Dorian laughs off a few replies in return, and stands up to leave just as David slips off into Dreamland. She apologizes to his sleeping form for spiking his champagne, but it has to be this way, my darling. Then she leaves.

THE MUSIC BOX KILLER'S: POST-MORTEM REVENGE!!

Natalie, John, and Bo are in the precinct in compliance with an interrogation. Natalie is playing John's Justice Crusader, screaming out that everyone knows that John didn't kill that psychopath, so why is he being detained. John keeps trying to tell her that it's okay, but she keeps right on screaming out his woes of injustice. Where's the evidence? She says.

"Right here," calls a voice from across the lobby. They turn to see District Attorney Weasel...(Oops! I mean, Daniel!), smugly wielding a videotape .
