OLTL was only a half-hour program when it first aired back in 1968.

It was in 1995 that Victor Lord's son, Todd Manning, bought The Intruder and renamed it The Sun. He purchased the paper from Dorian Lord.

Both Jason-Shane Scott (Will) and David Fumero (Cristian) were born December 29.

Nathan Purdee (Hank) is the proud owner of three motorcycles, and loves to take long trips across the country. He admits his best motorcycle is none other than his Harley.

Robert S. Woods (Bo) was born March 13, in Maywood, California. Woods also spent 15 months as Green Beret in the Vietnam war. He also received his broadcasting degree from California State University.

Timothy Stickney was born January 31.

OLTL won the 1999 Emmy Award for Best Costume Design.

The "B" in Hillary B. Smith (Nora) stands for Bailey, Smith's maiden name.

Catherine Hickland's birthday is February 11th.

Robert S. Woods once worked as a ride operator at Disneyland.

Gina Tognoni (Kelly) admits that she avoids sugar in her diet, not only to keep her waistline thin, but because she claims that sugar only makes her moody.

John Bolger (Sykes) favorite primetime show is Fraiser, which he claims is the only show he goes out of his way to watch.

Valentine's Day is Erin Torpey's (Jessica) birthday (February 14).

The character of Kelly Cramer has been involved with many men on the show, including Drew Buchanan, David Vickers, Max Holden, Ian Armitage, and Kevin Buchanan.

Kassie DePaiva's (Blair) birthday is March 21.

Timothy Gibbs (Kevin) received the 1999 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor.

James and Kassie DePaiva (Max and Blair) were wed in real life on March 31, 1986.

Don Jeffcoat (Joey) was born February 16, in Gulfport, MS.

Born as a Taurus, Charissa Chamorro (Sophia) celebrates her birthday on April 26.

Timothy Gibbs (Kevin) is from a family of five children.

Kale Browne (Sam) owns a fishing boat called the Kale Craft, which he uses in the waters near his home in the Berkshire Mountains in New England.

Robin Strasser (ex-Dorian) was born May 7th.

Viki's late husband Sloan Carpenter died of Hodgkin's disease.

John Bolger (Sykes) still continues to take art classes because of his love of painting. He earned a degree in Fine Arts. During his days at college he created a painting which today he calls one of his most prized possessions.

Both Kale Browne and Hillary B. Smith share something in common, they are both Gemini's. Browne was born June 16, and Smith was born May 25.

OLTL was changed from a half-hour program to forty-five minutes in 1976.

Both characters Mel Hayes and Ian Armitage died in a plane crash on two separate occasions.

Phil Carey (Asa) was born July 15, and his fellow actress Patricia Elliott was born July 21. Both actors are were born under the astrological sign of Cancer.

Robin Strasser (ex-Dorian) has a second home in the resort community of Ojai, located in Southern California.

One of Robin Strasser's prized possessions is her dog named Scooter. 

In 1998 the character of Dorian Lord took a trip to "Hell" while in a coma. Her tour guide was none other than the late mobster Carlo Hesser.

Nathan Purdee (Hank) was the executive producer of a documentary called Wallowitch & Ross: This Moment. The film portrays the life of fellow performers John Wallowitch and Bertram Ross.

Erika Slezak (Viki), Nathan Purdee (Hank), Michael Storm (Dr. Larry Wolek) and Clint Richie (Clint) all share birthday's in August. Slezak's is Aug. 5, Purdee is Aug. 6, Storm's is Aug. 9, and Richie's is also Aug. 9

One Life to Live's original title was Between Heaven and Hell.

Nathan Purdee was born August 6, in Tampa, Florida.

Roger Howarth (Todd Manning) was born September 13.

OLTL went from a forty-five minute show to a full hour in 1978.

Nathan Purdee (Hank) earned a degree from Denver's Metropolitan State College in mental health.

Erica Page (Roseanne) celebrates her birthday September 17.

One of Kale Browne's passions is hitting the slopes with his son, Nick. He often takes time to go skiing near his New England home which has two slopes within five minutes of his house.

Most of the food used for the show's production is prepared by the ABC cafeteria.

One Live to Live first premiered on July 15, 1968.

Don Jeffcoat's many talents include the ability to tap dance.

James DePaiva (Max) was born October 8th.

The actresses and actors from OLTL go through their early morning rehearsals in the studio's basement. These rehearsals are referred to as "dry blocking".

Each night after the show is taped, a set of 30 or more crew members work through the night to get the sets ready for the next day's show.

Scorpio's Mark Derwin and Kamar de los Reyes were born October 28th, and November 8th, respectively.

Agnes Nixon first original soap to air on television is One Life to Live.

Teleprompters and cue cards were removed from the set back in 1988, which means all the actors and actresses must have their lines memorized each day.

On the average, five new sets are created for the show each week.

Don Jeffcoat once was the Host for a Nickelodeon game show called "Wild and Crazy Kids".

There are seventeen dressings rooms located in the basement of the studio. These dressing rooms are for the contract actors and day players.

The casting department for OLTL receives more than 500 letters each week from aspiring actors and actresses.

Gina Tognoni (Kelly Cramer) was born November 28, making the actress a Sagittarius.

Clint Buchanan's first name was originally suppose to be Chris, but the actor convinced them to use his real first name instead.

The oldest set still in use today is the Lord Library, it has been renovated four times since it was first created back in 1968.

OLTL won the 1999 Emmy Award for Best Direction and Composition and for the original song entitled "When I Think of You"..

OLTL won the 1999 Emmy Award for Best Live & Direct-To-Tape Sound Mixing.

Bo Buchanan's first year in Llanview as Asa Buchanan's son was back in 1979. The role was originated by Robert S. Woods, who has been playing the role ever since.
