THE THOUGHT OF MITCH LAURENCE COMING BACK HAS MADE ME DECIDE NOT TO WATCH OLTL ANY MORE….HE IS A DISASTER.
WOW! Was today’s episode of OLTL AMAZING or what? The words that Andrew spoke during the ceremony were so touching and moving, and I really enjoyed the way they showed all the lovelorn throughout Llanview/London! The best part had to be when Roxy ran up to the protestor (Estelle?) and said “Don’t knock it until you try it” then planted a big kiss on her! I really look forward to the Kyle/Fish storyline. I think if the show writes them write, the Kyle/Fish, and Cristian/Layla pairings can be their new supercouples.
I agree with your post Nancy. Poor Robin Strasser DID look uncomfotable kissing Amelia…unless she’s that talented, that she was portraying Dorian’s angst of not having David around.
LOL! The protester was Estelle. Remember when Markko tried to buy condoms from her & was afreais of getting caught. I’m still pissed at how Dani is 15, when in fact she was born in early 2003–but thats soaps for you!
I liked the wedding show too and although my favorite potential couple is Layla and Cris I don’t mind that they are tied together, Layla and Cris have been kind of lacking in friends lately lol. I like that they are friends, this week Cris gets advice from his mom while Layla gets advice from Kyle and Fish to move L & C sl along. I have heard that they are going to do a “hate crime” storyline which will include both couples so it will put them on the front burner for awhile, I’m so sick of the other storylines I could scream.
I agree, Mark, I was wondering the same thing about Danielle. I admit that I’ve been out of the loop for quite a while, but didn’t Ross kidnap both Starr and Jack. Wouldn’t that make Dani younger than Jack?

Amy, yes—Dani should only be 6 LOL. The deserted island SL took place the summer of 2002, Dani would have been born early 2003! Ross kidknapped Jack. Todd wanted to screw with Max (he thought Jack was Max’s kid w/ Blair) So he wanted them to think Jack was dead, & he took it to Mexico
Mark R, did you mean that Todd wanted to screw with Max in the biblical sense? LOL.
Anyway, I think you may be confused. In 2001, when Jack was born, todd believed Jack to be Max’s son. Jack was born in Mexico, but Todd had plotted with David Vickers to find a home for Jack (at least they didnt sell him on the black market!). When Todd finally found out that Jack WAS his son, he set out to find what David had done with Jack. When they finally found where Jack had been taken, Todd got Jack back (not sure if he paid someone off or if he just kidnapped Jack). Todd returned to Llanview with Jack, and tried to pass Jack off (no pun intended) as the baby that Blair and Todd were planning to adopt. During the “live” week in 2002, in which the entire week’s worth of shows were aired live, Blair learned that Jack was in fact the son she thought had died in Mexico. I think it was from there that Blair decided to take the kids on a vacation to Hawaii, and Todd tried to kidnap the kids.
P.S. Kassie DePavia’s episodes during the live week were AMAZING! Look them up on youtube! It’s such a shame she didnt win an Emmy that year!
Mark H, I was wrong about Jack physically being taken to Mexico. Todd and Gabrielle Medina -and Nigle-were in kahoutz (however you spell it) to help Jack, they needed Alex’s bone marrow (She saved Starr in 1997). They needed to keep it top secret from Blair. Todd did indeed want Blair to think her son was dead, so he hid it in Mexico. There was a woman caring for it (she didn’t speak much english).
I also loved live week, actually I love all of 2002, one of my favorite years.
Getting back to Dani, I find it hard to follow characters like this, I like it to be real to my viewing, to be able to map out the years. Seeing a 6 yr old be 15 is a joke–but I don’t just blame OLTL for this-all soaps do it
