stop the madness

hi everybody , it is not necessary to have gay charcters on the show because most of the world is not gay and people just cannot relate. stop trying to force gay television, its too overwhelming and a turn off everytime u turn around here comes something gay give us a break. it already a gay channel, isnt that enough.

Decision to end Gay Story Line

This is a big mistake on ABC , And when this story line ends I will no longer Watch. The other characters suck especially Jesscia they are only breaking up chris and Lelia because she is black this sucks!!!

Kyle and Fish

I can't believe you are going to take away a good story line. This is the real world people. If you want to take away someone who can't act, take away Natalie. BORING! Gee Gee could go too, but leave Kyle and Fish. Again real world people!

GAY STORYLINE

I ABSOLUTLY HAVE NOTHING AGAINST GAYS. MY ONLY PROBLEM WTH THE STORYLINE IS THAT IT IS BORING AND CERTAINLY NOT ENTERTAINING. THE LOVE SCENES ARE REPULSIVE.

ABC IS OUT OF THEIR MIND

I can't believe that ABC is so homophobic that they are cancelling a storyling because they think it is affecting ratings. In looking at the recent poll, 53% of the viewers want the storyline to stay on. You want to know what is affecting the ratings, look at Jessica acting like a teenager at her age, or Langston being oversexed and underage or Clint hooking up with Kim, come on what an embarrasement to the Buchanan Family Name......so there are a few reasons. But no, get rid of modern age where a good portion of your viewers are gay. Get rid of Schyler because of Rex and Gigi possibly reuniting. I swear I don't know where the writers brains are or what they are thinking. They have now proven one thing to me and that is that ABC's Powers that be, DO NOT CARE about what the fans want. We wanted AMC to remain in NY and they could have produced the show in CT but no you take them to California. Having watched both shows since day one, through everything, I may have to rethink this!!!!

this really sucks

You gotta be kidding me!- The gay story line was the ONLY reason I started watching OLTL! I was channel surfing- accidentally came across the gay sex scene on Soapnet- and was pleasantly shocked! Ordinarilly I would NEVER add a soap to my dail viewing- but I loved how awesome the two actors portrayed their scenes. They weren't stereotypical- just two men in a real relationship. I should have known OLTL would drop the ball. It's a shame- cause much to my surprise ONE Live is actually a very entertaining show. They should have had the courage of their convictions- and put a few more dollars into buying advertisement for the show.

ending my watching

No i think this is a HUGE mistake most soap watchers are gay men and their ladies and there is so mucj more that can be done with this storyline for years to come. It's far more interesting than watching Jessica act like a teenager at 27

gay couple

god. what's up with this? i really like both guys and fish is finally acting, when he first came on i felt like it must of been the first acting job he'd ever done. he was awfullll sorry fish. but now you finally give him a personality and he's going and the otherr guy i rally like him and didn't at first but now ireallyyy like both. yeah peole get uncomfortable with the gay thing. but i'm sure you could of came up with away to keep them, just leave off the kissing and hugging until people get use to the idea.i love tose 2 tgere so nice in the beginingg there acting was what suckeddd sorry guys, but you two have really improved so much don't want them to go

about gay couple

i hate it. they can both finally act, no offence fish but i love them i don't want them to leave. just leave out the kissing or what ever it is that these people are offended by.

Baffled

I can not understand this decision. I've been a fan since 1979 and have seen many off the wall storylines such as spaceship to heaven and the oversexed teenager Langston !! The poor rating decision falls in line with the terrible real world events in Africa where Gay's are being targeted with DEATH. This seems to be stemming from "christain right" propaganda being preached there. I would like to ask, why was this story line introduced in the first place?? If the disapprove of "many fans" cause poor rating why take this chance?? The decision of hiding the gay storyline is also hypocritical and therefore I will stop watching the show as a result of these actions.
