Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Actress in 1982 for her portrayal of Dorian Lord on One Life to Live and was also nominated in 1981, 1983 and 1985. She was nominated for Soap Opera Digest Awards for Dorian in many categories in 1986, 1988, 1994, 1995 and 2005 and won in 1996 for Outstanding Lead Actress. She also won in 2001 for Outstanding Female Scene Stealer as Hecuba on Passions.

Profile and Biography of Robin Strasser:
Ms. Strasser was born as Robin Victory in Europe Strasser on the same day Germany surrendered in World War II and was raised in the borough of Brooklyn in New York City. She attended Yale University School of Drama on full scholarship after graduating from the High School of Performing Arts. Robin started her acting career in the early part of 1960 appearing on Broadway in plays such as The Shadow Box and Chapter Two. Later, Robin met her first husband, Laurence Luckinbill whom she married in 1965. They had two sons together, Nicolas and Ben. In 1976, she and Laurence divorced and Robin later married Richard Hogan in August 1983. They divorced two years later.
Ms. Strasser appeared in numerous television shows, miniseries and soap operas during her 40-plus year acting career. She is especially known for her award-winning portrayal of Dr. Dorian Lord on One Life to Live. Her most memorable scenes were with Stephen Markle who played her husband, Mel. (This storyline was the most loved in OLTL history!)
During Ms. Strasser’s many acquired accomplishments, she is also a founding member of the American Conservatory Threatre. She worked with the Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Café La Mama, The Mark Tapper Forum, The Papermill Playhouse and the Playwrights Horizons. She has many outside interests including charity work and fundraising. She successfully renovates several houses and apartments in her spare time and as a certified yoga instructor, she assists women in health and lifestyle changes.
Ms. Strasser resides in Manhattan with her two dogs, Roc-qui and Bisou.
