Baby Mine - OLTL Recap for Monday, June 8, 2009

Brody tries to console Jessica but she just wants to be left alone. Brody refuses to leave her and tells her that he loves her. Jessica blames herself for all of Tess’ and Bess’ actions and tells Brody that she’s poison. Brody informs her that she was the one that helped him through a rough time. As Brody holds Jessica, she tells him that she can’t get over the memory that she had with Chloe every morning when she played peek-a-boo with her. Brody tells her everything is going to be alright. Viki tells Charlie that she blames herself for Jessica’s breakdown. She thinks if she never went to Africa after Jessica lost Nash that both Jessica and her baby would have been ok. Charlie consoles Viki and surprises her with a proposal. Viki is alighted and accepts.

Nora looks at prom pictures of Matthew, Bo and herself with Rachael. Rachael believes her mother isn’t over Bo and that she’s marrying the wrong brother. Nora with mixed emotions reassures her that she and Bo never made out and that she loves Clint. Clint interrupts the conversation and Clint tells Nora that he wants to get married next month. Clint asks Nora if she was having second thoughts and Nora reassures him that she loves him and tells him she’d love him tomorrow. Clint takes it seriously but Nora says she wants to get married in Llanview. Later when Clint leaves the room she returns to look at the prom picture of the happy family. While at Rodi’s Bo approaches John and offers him his position back. John tells him he doesn’t want to have anymore run ins with the Mayor and refuses the offer. Bo tells him that the door is always open and that once a cop always a cop.

Starr, Cole and Marty anxiously await the arrival of Todd and Blair with the baby. Starr tells Cole that she never signed the adoption papers. Cole and Starr are emotionally reunited with their daughter, Hope. Cole holds his baby for the first time. Having a small amount of time with Hope, Todd keeps his promise and calls Marcie and Michael. When they arrive Starr informs them that she never signed the papers and hesitates to. Blair tells her she can wait and that Marcie will understand. Starr signs the paper and together Cole and Starr hand over Hope to Marcie. Marcie gives Starr another locket with Hope’s hair. Starr starts to feel too emotional and wants Marcie and Michael to leave. Blair, Todd and Marty give the Cole and Starr time alone. Blair and Todd bond. Blair is impressed that Todd kept it together throughout the handing over of Hope. Todd remembers how Starr used to like snakes and lizards and they both agree how tough and strong their daughter is. Todd asks Blair to wonder what it would have been like as grandparents and they embrace. Cole and Starr wish they had more time with Hope and Cole takes the locket and puts it on Starr and tells her that Hope will always be in your heart.
