Cradle of Hope - OLTL Recap for Monday, November 17, 2008

Nora and Blair are shocked when John tells them that Marty is alive and has been living with Todd. He fills them in on her amnesia and the depth of Todd’s manipulation of her situation. Nora rushes off to see her friend while John tells Blair more of how Todd had messed with Marty’s mind. Blair is shocked to find out that Todd slept with Marty but not as much as when John tells her that Todd planned to leave town with Starr’s baby. Blair then has to tell John that the baby died.

Marty and Cole come face to face and he quickly realizes she doesn’t remember him. Though he is disappointed, he is happy when she tells him that she does remember him as a baby. While she is being checked out, Nora and Cole share their excitement. Cole questions her about how Marty was found but Nora is hesitant to tell him the truth but admits that Todd had been holding her captive. Marty is furious when Nora goes to visit her, thinking of her as the woman who defended her rapists. Talia backs up Nora’s claim to be Marty’s friend. Left alone, Nora questions Marty about what happened. Nora comforts her when Marty blames herself for sleeping with Todd. Nora fears Marty could to be pregnant. While getting treatment, Todd dreams of how it could have been. Furious, Cole sneaks into Todd’s room.

Langston visits Starr and tries to comfort her. Langston gives Starr a lock of Hope’s hair to put in the locket that Marcie gave to her. Marcie arrives home to find presents for Hope. Michael offers to clear the baby items from the apartment and tells Marcie that he is suffering along with her and promises not to walk out on her again.
