An Eye For An I - OLTL Recap for Friday, November 14, 2008

Natalie and Jared celebrate their freedom, Natalie hopes that Jess can forgive them for what happened to Nash. Viki returns home and finds Tina in a tizzy, Tina tells Viki that she’s leaving Llanview. Viki demands to know why, Tina tells some story that Viki sees right through. Tina explains that she knew Natalie and Jared were in the basement all along. Viki is absolutely livid, wondering how Tina could put her needs ahead of Natalie and Jared. Tina reminds Viki that everything turned out ok in the end, Viki demands that Tina leave Llanfare as she is never welcome in her home again. Tina packs her things and is on her way.

Bo and Nora start to put the pieces together – John was after a warrant to check Todd’s house because Marty might be there, Bo sends Antonio and Talia to Todd’s. Nora reminds Bo that John will have to be arrested as soon as possible, Bo doesn’t know if he can even help John in this situation. Marty holds the gun to Todd’s chest, John tries desperately to convince Marty to put the gun down but Marty wants to inflict as much pain on Todd as he did to her. Todd tells Marty to shoot him because he deserves it, John reminds Marty that she’s got a son and her son doesn’t need his mother in prison. Marty finally snaps back to reality and puts the gun down. John helps her down the stairs as Antonio and Talia enter Todd’s house. John explains what happened, Antonio can’t believe that Marty is alive. Antonio goes upstairs to find Todd, battered and bruised. Antonio asks Todd who hurt him, Todd explains that he did it to himself. John wants to take Marty to the hospital but, unfortunately, Talia has to arrest him. John doesn’t care that he’d being arrested, all he wants is for Marty to get to the hospital fast. Talia talks with Marty and explains what needs to happen. Marty agrees to go to the hospital.

Blair is consoling Starr, who still isn’t over the loss of her baby (and won’t be for a long time). Cole comes into Starr’s room to see how she’s doing, he then asks if the baby could be buried next to his mom. Starr wants to get Marcie’s opinion on the burial sight, she asks Cole to get Marcie.

Meanwhile, Blair finds out about John. Starr tells her to go see if John’s ok, Blair does but promises to return. Marcie is at the maternity ward, staring at all the babies. Mike is afraid for Marcie’s mental health, but she insists that she’s fine. Cole finds Marcie and tells her that Starr wants to see her. Cole and Mike talk, Mike explains that sometimes things happen for a reason. Cole hopes he can see that in the future. Marcie goes to see Starr, wherein Starr apologizes for not delivering a healthy baby for Marcie to adopt. Marcie keeps telling Starr that it’s not her fault and that, sometimes, things just happen. Marcie thanks Starr for believing that she’d make a good mother, Starr is convinced that Marcie will be a mother again someday.

Blair rushes to the police station, wherein she tells Bo that she saw John earlier in the day and he said that he’s got some news that would affect a lot of people – though he wouldn’t go into specifics. Bo promises to call Blair with information as soon as he can, the mayor wants to keep everything quiet but its too late as the media has already got a hold of the story. Talia helps Marty into the hospital elevator, Marty has a dazed look on her face. As the elevator door opens, there, on the other side, Marty comes face-to-face with Cole. . .
