Getting Mad vs. Getting Even - OLTL Recap for November 13, 2008

Antonio and Talia are trying to dig up information on Vanessa, to no avail – the records for Ray’s murder trial have been sealed. Bo returns to the station, Nora informs him that Viki and Clint found Jess and she has to charge Jess with attempted murder – knowing that the case won’t go to trial because Jess will plead insanity. Bo receives John’s voicemail, Nora fills Bo in on what happened to John. Bo wonders how John could call him in the evening if he’s been in lockup since the morning, Bo sends Antonio to check on John. Antonio returns with George, the security guard John locked up in his cell. George explains that John was screaming that he had to get out because Marty is alive and isn’t safe.

Jared and Natalie confront Tina, who explains that she didn’t tell anyone because Tess’ threatened Sarah and then she had to rescue David Vickers the Dog. Natalie and Jared freak out when they find out Tina didn’t say anything because of a dog. Tina tries to flip the story around, making herself out to be the hero after she led Charlie and Viki to the basement. Natalie doesn’t give in to that story, Tina wonders if Viki knows what she did. Natalie promises not to tell Viki, just as long as Tina leaves town and never returns (thus leaving Sarah behind). Jess gets the proper medical attention that she needs, then is restrained in the bed. Jess doesn’t mind being restrained because she doesn’t want Tess to come back out and continue to hurt the people that she loves. Jess asks Viki about Natalie and Jared, Viki explains that they are both doing fine – though not telling Jess about what Tess did to them. Jess wants to see Bree, Clint explains that he can’t bring Bree to the hospital. Jess sends Viki home to check on Bree. Clint stays with Jess as she falls asleep. Jess has a horrible nightmare about Niki Smith, Tess and something being wrong with her baby. Clint relaxes Jess and reminds her that her baby is doing just fine.

Dorian and Blair grieve over the loss of Starr’s baby. Blair mentions that Todd stopped by the hospital. Dorian thinks it strange that Todd stopped by just before Starr’s baby died. Blair is appalled that Dorian would even suggest that Todd could be that cruel. Dorian rushes off to get some answers as to why the baby died, Viki runs into Dorian and fill her in on the happenings at Llanfare and about Jess. Viki thanks Dorian for helping her find Natalie and Jared (it was something Dorian said that triggered Viki’s mind). Dorian reminds Viki that she’ll owe her one, Viki has no doubt Dorian will collect on that debt.

Cris gets Vanessa and Lola settled in before he and Sarah make themselves as comfortable as they can on his futon downstairs. Sarah and Cris make out, Sarah stops as she explains she doesn’t want a teenager to talk in on them. Cris apologizes for the inconvenience, Sarah explains that as long as Vanessa and Lola are at his place they can’t make love. Sarah leaves for the night, Cris goes to sleep and is awakened when Vanessa comes down the stairs for some water. Vanessa apologizes for disrupting Cris’ life and promises to be out soon. She watches from the stairs as Cris falls back asleep.

Todd accepts the blame for being the ringleader of Marty’s gang rape. Marty wants to know all the horrible details of that night, Todd convinces her that she doesn’t need to know. Marty is furious with Todd for not telling her that she’s got a son. Marty explains that she feels as though she’s been raped again after she and Todd made love that night. John flips a lid when he finds out Todd and Marty slept together. John beats the heck out of Todd, Todd can barely stand. John wants to cuff him and bring him in but Marty points a gun at Todd, ready to pull the trigger. . .
