The Moonrise Wakes the Nightingale - OLTL Recap for Friday, Oct. 24, 2008

Viki and Charlie go to see Roxy, hoping that either Jared or Natalie has contacted her. Roxy doesn’t know where either party is and gets more nervous when Viki says that Jess is missing. Viki wants her children to return safely, Roxy begins to pray and light candles – hoping that this will help. Cole goes to see John with the idea of sending Marty’s picture in to a website that memorializes people who have passed. John thinks it’s a good idea to keep Marty in the front of his mind, Cole wants Marty to know, where ever she is, that she is still loved and miss. John feels that Marty knows people miss her. Starr goes to Blair, both of them are having trouble sleeping after the day they just had with Langston and Dorian. Starr feels the baby kick and gets all excited, she then becomes scared because she knows that the baby is coming soon. Blair tells Starr that she will be there for her daughter always, no matter what the situation is. They begin to talk about Todd, Blair fears that he’ll never see his grandchild while Starr explains that Todd has always wanted a family however, he’s always the one that screws everything up. Todd finds Marty in Bree’s room, Marty explains that she just put Bree to bed.

Marty has another flashback of a baby boy and can’t help but feel a very strong connection to him. Marty wonders if she could’ve had a baby when she went missing from Llanview years ago, Todd explains that he would’ve found out if she ever had a baby. Marty believes that she is just thinking about her future with Todd and his grandchild. Luckily for Tess, Tina screwed up when she rigged up the dynamite to explode. Tess brings this to Tina’s attention, she then tells Tina that she’s there to steal the jewels and pawn them to she, Bree and her new baby can enjoy a healthy lifestyle. Tina begs with Tess not to take all the jewels for she needs them to save David Vickers, the dog. Tess shows a little compassion when she throws a necklace to Tina to use to get David Vickers back, unknown to Tina Tess also took off with the dynamite. Tina vows to save David Vickers, and then save Natalie and Jared – she’d got nothing to lose now that Tess has the jewels.

Mike stands outside Rex’s room running interference as Adriana almost walks into the room. Mike goes in to check on Rex and can’t believe that he’s actually awake. Mike checks Rex’s vitals, which seem to be very strong. He tells Gigi to hurry because he doesn’t know how much longer he can stall Adriana. Mike leaves the room to tell Adriana that Rex is awake but she can’t go in. Adriana doesn’t listen to Mike and she walks into the room. Adriana sneaks in to hear Rex and Gigi talking. Rex tells Gigi that he had to play some sort of game to come back to her and he’s glad that he won the game. Gigi explains that she loved Rex 10 years ago, she loved Rex today and she’ll always love Rex. Rex explains that he loves her too and she is the one for him. Adriana overhears everything and tries to quietly sneak out of the room but she knocks something over. Rex and Gigi see her, Adriana confronts Gigi for sneaking into the room, however she lightens up as there is something she must say to both Rex and Gigi. Adriana explains that she screwed up their marriage, not blaming anyone but herself. Adriana goes on to say that she realizes Rex and Gigi belong together and that’s what she’s going to give them, as soon as Rex is up to it she will sign the divorce papers. Tess returns to Bree with their future all planned out, Tess produces the dynamite and plans on getting rid of Jared and Natalie first thing tomorrow morning. . .
