OLTL Recap for Friday, October 3, 2008

Vanessa takes Cris back to her place, wherein she tells him that she is afraid of Ray because Ray is a killer and kills people that have crossed him. Cris wants something a little more concrete than Vanessa’s word, Vanessa begs Cris to take her back to Llanview with him – far away from Ray. Cris agrees to take Vanessa with him; Vanessa reveals that she has a daughter – Lola. John returns to the station, Sarah and Antonio are awaiting his arrival. John asks an officer for everything they have on Marty’s accident in Ireland, he then proceeds to tell Antonio and Sarah everything he learned from Plato Prison. Sarah doesn’t understand how a murderer could just walk out of a jail and into another country, Antonio does a search on the name Ray Montez and can’t believe what he finds – Antonio comes across the court documents regarding Langston’s placement. Sarah can’t believe that Ray is in Llanview.

Marty is looking at a picture of the four men that raped her, fortunately for Todd the picture was taken before his face was reconstructed after his run-in with Mitch Laurence. Todd explains that one of the men, Kevin, was acquitted on account of Marty’s retraction of her accusation. Marty says that she wants to learn everything she can about the people that attacked her – even their names. Todd convinces Marty that she needs to let go of the past and focus on the future.

Adriana talks to Rex as his eyes open, she tells Roxy – who then goes to get a doctor. Gigi wants to see Rex but Adriana refuses to let her in the room. A doctor comes to examine Rex, the doctor reports that Rex has regained consciousness; however, he is still in critical condition. Gigi is adamant about going to see Rex; Adriana blames Gigi for everything that’s happened to Rex. Bo stops the potential catfight from occurring and pleads with Adriana to let Gigi in. Adriana refuses; she then threatens to call security on Gigi. Gigi refuses to leave until she can see Rex, Bo convinces Gigi that getting arrested wouldn’t be worth it – he promises to call with any news on Rex. Roxy goes in to see her son, sarcastically asking Adriana if it’s okay that she does.

Dorian is brought into the courtroom; she’ll be pleading for her release. Starr, Cole, Langston and Markko meet her, wherein Cole tells Dorian about Clint and Ray’s relationship. Dorian can’t believe that Clint would stoop so low as to use Langston for his own personal gain. The judge enters the courtroom; Dorian apologizes for her outburst in court the other day – explaining that she was just protecting her daughter. Judge Jenkins agrees to release Dorian, providing she be on her best behavior and remember that his decision regarding Langston stands. Dorian sends the kids off to school; Ray can see that Dorian is perturbed by something. Dorian explains to Ray that she has nothing to say to him; however she will be talking to Clint.

Nora returns home and is surprised to see Dallas in the living room, donning Clint’s bathrobe. Dallas goes to change clothes, Clint explains to Nora that he invited her to stay at the mansion for a couple of days. Nora tries not to let it bother her, changing the subject and asking how “Operation Langston” is going. Clint reports that everything is going to plan and Dorian should be finding out soon enough – on account of Cole – that he’s masterminded the whole thing. Nora is furious at Clint for including Cole in the scheme; Clint explains what happened when Cole walked in on him and Ray. Ray calls Clint to tell him that Dorian knows of their relationship. Clint tells Ray that he’ll deal with Dorian, Dorian bursts into the living room and plans to deal with Clint first. . .
