Guilt-O-Whirl - Recap for Tuesday, September 23, 2008

Gigi and Rex are upset to find out Brody picked up Shane from school. When Marcie comes to and remembers having a confrontation with Brody, she calls Gigi. Gigi is horrified to see what Brody did to Marcie and the Carriage House. Rex calls the police after finding Shane’s clothes are missing. Their fear grows when they find evidence that Brody has a gun. Brody gets edgy when Shane starts asking questions. When Shane wants to call Gigi to let her know that he’s okay, Brody refuses. His aggravation grows when Shane says he isn’t sure he should change his name. The issue is moot when the judge refuses to change Shane’s name without Gigi’s permission. When Shane suggests they get Gigi, Brody tells the boy that she doesn’t want him to be his father. Brody convinces Shane to go along with his plan.

Langston realizes Dorian’s motive in pushing through her adoption is Ray’s sudden appearance and tries to assure Dorian that she still wants to be her daughter. Dorian tells her that Ray wants to be her legal guardian. When pressed, Langston chooses Dorian over Ray. The judge refuses to let the adoption go through. Markko and Starr begin to worry when Langston doesn’t meet them after school. He tells Starr that he is suspicious of Ray. After the principal sends Markko to practice, she calls Starr into her office.

Tina starts to confess to Jared but Tess interrupts. Tess tells Tina that she should go be with Sarah. After Tina leaves, Jared suggests he move out since Natalie is gone, but Tess asks him to stay. Natalie watches as Tess manipulates Jared.

Todd and Marty almost go too far before Todd pulls away. Todd blames his pulling away on his lack of protection. Todd feels uneasy when Marty starts talking about what a miracle it would be to be pregnant. When she tells him it’s time to start shopping for his grandchild, Todd tells her he wants her to think of the baby as theirs.
