Jared goes to Rex’s apartment in search of Natalie, Rex explains that he doesn’t know where Natalie is and, after reading the letter from Natalie, tells Jared to move on with his life because Natalie finally dumped him. Jared goes to Roxy to see if she’s heard from Natalie. Roxy hasn’t, Charlie is there. Jared thinks that maybe he should give up on Natalie and let her go. Charlie tells Jared that if he let Natalie go, he would be a fool.

Cole shows Matthew around Llanview High, Matt sees a couple people he knows but chooses to sit with Cole and Markko. The principal begins the morning assembly, Starr and Langston walk in. Immediately, other kids start to snicker, point and laugh at Starr. Cole and Markko, along with two other boys, almost get into a fight that the principal has to break up. The principal takes them out into the hallway; meanwhile the other kids make fun of Starr. Starr grabs a microphone and tells everyone that being pregnant is no joke, explaining that it changes your life and it shouldn’t happen to anyone – she advocates the use of protection during sex. The principal cuts her off, drags Starr into the hall and tells Starr that her future at Llanview High is questionable after the stunt she just pulled.

Brody is having a dream about being back in the war, his “shell shock” sets in when Shane tries to wake him up but Brody throws Shane on the ground. Gigi sees everything; Shane thought they were just playing. He goes upstairs to get his stuff for school; Marcie stops over to tell Gigi and Shane that she is allowed to teach – on probation. Brody takes Shane to school; Marcie wonders why Gigi still has Brody living there when she is in love with Rex. Marcie makes Gigi see that she has to tell Shane the truth and get rid of Brody to move on with Rex. When Brody returns home, Gigi tells him that she is going shopping and when she comes back Brody is to be packed and ready to find a new place to live because their lie ends today. Brody protests it, citing Shane’s mental health, but Gigi is ready to tell Shane the truth.

Adriana calls Rex, wanting to go away with him for a few weeks to see if they can rekindle their love for each other. Rex tells Adriana that he knows Shane is his son and forces Adriana to admit that she knew as well and gave Brody the ammo to fake the DNA test. Adriana wants another chance, Rex wants a divorce. Gigi shows up in the middle of their conversation, Rex tells Adriana that he won’t change his mind about the divorce. Adriana hangs up on Rex and calls Brody to “congratulate” him for failing to keep Rex and Gigi apart and for ruining Shane’s life. Adriana’s call is enough to make Brody finally lose it, as he starts tearing Gigi’s apartment apart. Gigi tells Rex that she is going to tell Shane the truth, today.

Natalie doesn’t think that Jared will fall for Jessica, Tess is convinced that she knows how to work Jared so that Jared falls for her – and Natalie gets to watch it all happen. Tess explains that she plans to make Jared her birthing coach so they will become close, Natalie holds on to the hope that Tess’ plan won’t work. Dorian demands to know what Ray wants, after some hesitation, Ray admits that he wants to raise Langston. Dorian tells Ray that that will never happen. Ray is prepared to take Dorian to court over the matter. Dorian throws Ray out of her house; she immediately calls her lawyers to expedite the adoption process and wants them to find everything they can about Ray Montez. . .
