The Spanish Prisoner - OLTL Recap for Thursday, September 11, 2008

Rex goes to see Bo, telling him that Shane is really his son and asking advice about how to handle it. Bo tells Rex that he’s got to put Shane first, Rex fears that Brody has ingrained himself too much into Shane’s life and wonders if they should even bother telling Shane that Rex is his real father. Bo tells Rex that he has to tell Shane the truth, because it will come out eventually.

Dorian returns home from a shopping spree, buying Starr and Langston a new wardrobe for school. Dorian finds out what Langston is doing and thinks that she and Starr are wasting time. Langston goes to try some of the clothes on. Starr talks with Dorian, telling her that she will gain more respect from Langston if she helps Langston. Langston returns a models a few outfits, which Dorian and Starr absolutely love. Starr goes to try on some clothes. Langston apologizes to Dorian, fearing that her search for a relative hurt Dorian’s feelings. Dorian explains that she’s going to have every name on Langston’s list checked out for possible relatives. Dorian asks Langston if it would alright if Dorian could officially adopt Langston.

Natalie finds the remote and turns on the television in her secret room. She sees Tina almost telling Clint about Jess being Tess, but Tess walks in and stops her. Clint can see that something is up between Tina and “Jessica,” Tess admits that she’s on edge because of Natalie, explaining that Natalie has been too pushy and she doesn’t think it was a good idea to invite Natalie to move in so soon after Nash’s death. Tina explains that Jess isn’t telling the whole truth; Sarah walks in and informs them that Cris is missing and Carlo might be the culprit. Tina thought Carlo was behind bars, Clint orders extra security for Llanfair and for Sarah. Tina and Sarah go to the kitchen, Clint tells Jess to hang in there because Natalie will come to her senses soon enough. Jess explains that she’s got everything under control.

Jared works his magic on Ray and gets him to agree to the terms of the deal. Ray is all set to claim Langston as his niece and take her away from Dorian. Meanwhile, Carlo brings Cris to the same prison Ray is in. The warden, seeing his opportunity to make some cash, puts Cris in Ray’s place while Ray goes free. Carlo sees Jared; they eye each other and are introduced by the warden. Jared calls Clint and tells him the good news; he takes Ray into the limo just as Cris is being put into Ray’s cell.

Gigi returns to work at Rodi’s, and sees that Brody is there and she wants to know how he was able to fake the DNA test. Brody doesn’t reveal how he did it; he explains that he doesn’t want Gigi to tell Shane the truth. Gigi explains that she is going to tell Shane ASAP and wants Brody to be there when it happens to explain about the DNA test to Shane. Brody refuses to be apart of it, they get into an argument as Shane walks in. Shane senses that something is wrong and wants to have a family meeting. Rex shows up, Shane tells Rex to leave because they are having a family meeting. Rex says, “It’s a good thing that I’m here then…”
