A Pain in the Glass - OLTL Recap for Thursday, September 4, 2008

Natalie confronts Clint about his plan with Langston, saying that he is no better than Jared is. Clint resents this, he also resents being likened to Jared and reminds Natalie that Jared is the reason he has to do this. Natalie wishes that Clint would take a good look at himself, she storms out. Nora hears everything and wants to know why Clint didn’t tell her about his plans concerning Langston. Clint doesn’t apologize for what he did and explains that, is all goes well, no one will get hurt. Nora kicks Clint out of the house. Clint goes to Capricorn for a drink and runs into Dallas.

John meets Blair at Capricorn, Mike sees them and tells John that he’s happy John’s finally moved on from Marty and found someone else. Blair tells John about Todd’s appearance at the birthing class, John wants to find out what Todd’s ulterior motive is for showing up. Mike runs into Layla, they each lament over their failed and failing relationships, Layla can’t believe that Mike and Marcie are probably headed for divorce. They drink and salute to each other, Layla convinces Mike to dance while Blair sings for John.

Meanwhile, Fish (the former Llanview cop now in Cherryvale) tries his best to sharpen the image of the unknown woman. Fish calls John to report that the image won’t be ready until morning. Tess calls Todd over to Llanfare and explains that Tina found out she’s Tess and not Jess. Todd wants nothing to do with it, but Tess explains that she’ll go to John and Marty if he doesn’t help her. Todd tells Tess that she needs to get leverage over Tina in order to keep her quiet, he also reminds Tess that he can hurt her far more than she can hurt him.

Gigi and Rex are at the airport awaiting their flight back to Llanview. Antonio, Talia, Cris and Sarah show up there as well – they are all on the same flight. Cris and Antonio confront Rex when they see him kissing Gigi. Rex explains that he and Adriana are over, he just hasn’t told Adriana yet. Cris explains that he talked with Adriana and she believes they still have a chance. Antonio tells Rex to end it with Adriana as soon as possible. Rex rejoins Gigi, they come up with a plan on how to tell Shane that Rex is really his father. Cris goes to check on the flight, Sarah runs into Jared – who explains that he’s going to South America on business. Sarah promises to try to forgive Jared, if he succeeds in getting the company back. Cris returns with the news that their flight was changed and there’s not enough seats, so he got bumped. Sarah wants to stay with him, Cris assures her that he’s on the next flight. Antonio, Talia, Sarah, Rex and Gigi head home while Cris waits behind. An employee at the airport seeks Cris out and explains that a seat has opened up on an earlier flight to Llanview. Cris follows the employee, only to be attacked and chloroformed by another employee.

Tina and David Vickers (the dog) try to find an escape route from the room in the basement. Tina sees that it’s no use but fails to give in to Tess, saying that they will beat her at her own game. Tess tries to think about how she can gain leverage over Tina, then remembers how Tina cried out about the safe when Leo was going near it. Tess finds the Crown Jewels on Mendorra in the safe, but Natalie catches her. . .
