Marty and John cross paths in their dreams. In Martys dream, she blames John for her condition and refuses to believe him when he calls Todd a liar. She defends her new friend and then accuses John of breaking up Todds marriage. She insists that this is the last time shell let him haunt her dreams.
In Johns dream, Marty wonders why he chose Blair to help him move on and warns that Todd will get even when he finds out. Marty tells him that his failure to save Caitlin is causing him to try to save every woman he gets involved with, including Blair. She asks if shed lived if she would have been the one then muses that she and Blair should switch places, making him wonder what she meant.
At the ranch, Bo confronts Asa about their turbulent past. He explains to his father how hed gone back in time and had to be Asa Buchanan. Asa defends his motives when Bo attacks the way he lived his life. Bo tells his father that he has finally let go and in turn, Asa admits that his sons were the best thing he ever did before disappearing.
Brody reads a note that Adrianna sent to Gigi with Rexs toothbrush. He is interrupted when Shane comes downstairs having had a dream that Brody isnt his father. Shane tells Brody that losing him now would be worse than never knowing his father. He confesses to Brody that he is worried that Rex will come between Brody and Gigi then admits that he used to want Rex to be his father. After Shane goes back upstairs, Brody pulls out the toothbrush with Rexs DNA.
In 1968, Gigi finds Rex in bed with Emma. Gigi explains how she ended up in the past and wonders why she bothered since he slept with Emma. Rex retorts that she slept with Brody first. After Gigi clarifies that nothing happened between her and Brody, Emma points out that Rex slept with her only to be with Gigi. Rex agrees and says that he loves Gigi. After they kiss, Rex fears they are stuck until 1988.
