OLTL Episode Recap

From Carlotta "Carly" Schmittgen, for About.com

At the Country Club, Clint, Bo, Nora and Matthew sit in stunned silence as Rachel disrupts the introduction of Dr. Greg Evans when she accuses him of being “the hot shot who left home and never looked back.” He makes light of her comments as Clint slides him an envelope with a check. Nora and Bo grab each others hands as Dr. Evans states that he can get Matthew walking again. Rachel is skeptical and aside threatens the doctor if he lets her family down like he did his.

Over at Rodi’s, Shaun sympathetically listens to his sister tells of Justin throwing a quarter tip on the ground, ridiculing her name as “Dense-sity” and ultimately causing her to lose job at the Country Club when she dumped ice cold water on him in frustration. When Shaun discovers she didn’t getting any severance pay or tips, he takes Destiny to see her former employer. When they get to the Country Club, Destiny spots her estranged brother and jumps into his arms. Shaun looks less than enthused to see Greg and hear his claims of coming because of his sister’s emails since Shaun already spotted Clint’s check.

At the spa, Rex finds Brody in the sauna room and the two get into again when Rex voices his disgust with Gigi’s loose behavior. The vet bites in tongue just short of telling Balsom the truth and leaves in disgust when Rex says the only person he trusts now is Stacy! The PI sits in the sauna and has visions of catching Gigi with all her different men and how supportive Stacy has been to him through all this.

Meanwhile at Ultra Violet, the young students impatiently wait while Stacy leaves Rex another voicemail. He’s been avoiding her since they were busted at the Country Club. Jessie arrives late with Chloe but doesn’t keep her in lessons when she finds out who the instructor is. The two ingénues get in to it as both gals pasts are shouted about, then Jess leaves with Chloe.

Across town at Rodi’s, Natalie and Jared finally force the truth from Gigi. They are in shock and sympathetic as they hear the details of Stacy’s blackmail and how she’s not even the true donor! They agree to help Gigi with dropping the charges, but only if Gigi tells Rex the truth!

Langston and Dorian celebrate on the LaBoulaie patio as they think they have Markko’s mother on their side. However, the celebration may be premature as Mr. Rivera is at the diner telling his wife the stories he’s heard about Dorian’s manipulations and shenanigans of Mo’s, Noelle’s, Shaun’s, Charlie’s and Viki’s lives. Back at LaBoulaie, when Langston tells Dori that Markko’s cell has been confiscated by his dad, the matriarch suggests she get more creative in getting in touch with her beau. At the diner, Markko smiles as he gets a takeout order (it’s Langston). When it’s apparent his father is going to follow him, Mrs. Rivera begs her husband to let their son do his job. When Markko arrives at LaBoulaie, the teen lovers kiss and hug between Dorian’s profuse apologizes for her behavior at the party. The matriarch laughs when Markko tells of all Mr. Rivera heard about her. She feels they are “vindictive ramblings of Viki Davidson.” She then hatches a plan to invite all involved over as well as the Rivera’s to a dinner party prepared by her!

At Rodi’s, Jessica catches up with Brody and tells him about her run-in with Stacy. Both hope it’s only a matter of time before the truth is out to Rex. Meanwhile at Ultra Violet, Stacy lectures to her students that they won’t be in The Nutcracker, but will probably find themselves as Las Vegas strippers for sleazy men. She starts babbling on about dreams and how she was so close to having “him” when they were busted at the country club. One of the little ballerinas wants to go home. Stacy continues on with telling the little girls how to never give up. She looks up and sees Rex at the door.

The little ballerinas have left Ultra Violet. Rex sips on a beer and tells Stacy how everyone is giving him advice and he’s not sure who to listen to any more. He is also having visions. Their eyes meet and she asks him what he wants. “What I want is you, Stacy.”
