OLTL Episode Recap

From Carlotta "Carly" Schmittgen, for About.com

At Rex’s apartment, Stacy and he splash water at each other. Soaked, the former stripper casually removes her top exposing her red bra. Rex appears to be a little flustered by his roommate’s promiscuity as she switches into her sweatshirt, removes the bra and hangs it on the balcony. Stacy pretends she’s trying to find a job in order to pay back Rex. When he suggests for her to go back to stripping, she claims that she had to drink shooters in order to get courage to display herself in front of men. Her dream is to be a dance instructor and travel the world. Balsom offers his club afternoons for her to teach dancing.

Over at the cottage, Shane assumes the worst when he returns home unexpectedly and he finds his Mom entertaining another guy – Schuyler. When Gigi orders her son to apologize to Joplin, he refuses and storms up the stairs after she grounds him. Shane sneaks down on the landing and overhears his mom telling Schuyler she never slept with Brody and she wished the truth could come out.

Meanwhile at LaBoulaie, Dorian finishes lighting candles and greets Ray as he enters the patio. He apologizes for not being able to stay for dinner. He needs to get back to St. Anne’s to arrange for Lola‘s transfer to a place faraway and away from the distraction of Ms. Lord as well as the reminders of her chaotic life in Llanview.

Across town at Manning’s mansion, Jack embarrasses Tea when he asks his Dad how long “the naked lady” is staying. Delgado informs her ex that Blair will get custody of the kids since she’s well and John’s a hero. He smugly explains to her that the blonde won’t after Tea testifies to the judge that the marriage to John was her idea and a sham. Tea is worried that Blair will spill to the judge that she and Todd were sleeping together at the same time she was representing Blair. Delgado is afraid of a huge fine or worse yet, disbarment. Jack interrupts them and inquires if the suitcases should go to his Dad’s room or the guest room. The attorney asks Todd about his feelings for Marty and Blair. He assures her that it’s over with Saybrooke, but avoids any comment about Cramer. Tea flashes back to the boiler room and hears the confession of Blair and herself both still loving Todd.

At Marty’s hotel room, Cole picks up her framed diploma and is surprised to hear that she’s returning to her field of psychiatry. She, in turn, is disappointed to hear that Cole is skipping out on his graduation since it’s a fake diploma until he finishes summer school. She finally convinces him not to worry about what he peers think and only care about the people who care about him. He agrees to go to the graduation and leaves.

In Rodi’s, Blair is visibly upset when she hears from John that he’ll stay married to her only until she gets custody of her children. The blonde realizes that Marty and John are picking up where they left off before the accident and gets teary eyed as she realizes John doesn’t share the same feelings she has for him. The former detective feels that Todd was just as much between them as Marty.

Back at The Palace, Marty hears a knock at the door and assumes its Cole returning, but instead finds John with a single red rose. McBain tells Marty he wants to pick up where they were before the accident, but must stay married to Blair until she has custody. Saybrooke smiles and promises her beau she’ll wait for him. They kiss. Across town, Ray comes downstairs with his suitcase and attempts to kiss Dorian goodbye. She pulls away from him and after he leaves, she goes out to the patio and flips over several pieces of furniture and settings for her romantic evening. Over at Balsom’s, Rex retires to the other bedroom and Stacy crawls into bed. On the counter, Rex’s cell reflects a call from Gigi and Shane is seen leaving a message that he really needs to talk to his Dad. Across town at Manning’s, Blair is at the front door and hears voices of laughter from within. She peers in and sees Todd, Tea and the two boys all comfy on couch playing games. Unnoticed, she leaves.
