Power Failure - OLTL Recap for Tuesday, May 19, 2009

Jessica is hysterical when she can’t find Chloe and wakes the entire house. Viki calls Clint. Bo gets the police put out on an amber alert out for Chloe. Jared and Natalie think Kyle Lewis stole the baby and when Bo gets a report back from the police that Kyle has been arrested Jessica and Brody go to the police station. Natalie and Jared wait until Jessica leaves and tells Charlie, Clint and Viki that Kyle has been blackmailing them and has proof that Chloe doesn’t belong to Jessica. While in the car Jessica has a flashback and sees Bess holding a baby and states that she knows exactly what to do.

As gas is slowly seeping into the room that Tea and Blair are locked in, the two start to insult each other. Thinking that they are going to die at anytime, Blair remains hopeful that John is going to rescue them. After their quarrel both come to realize that they have a lot in common, they are both strong women and that they both love Todd. Tea tells Blair she has a secret to get off her chest before they die.

John jogs Jack’s memory and Jack remembers that there was an invitation in the envelope that was delivered. John remembers that it’s the anniversary of the KAD Spring Fling and puts two and two together and decides to search for Todd, Blair, Tea and Marty at the old abandoned KAD frat house. Cole, Starr and Jack lock up the house when John leaves and Starr decides to make a snack for them. Jack tells Starr he really meant it when he told her he loved her.

Todd and Marty are convinced that Powell has Jessica’s daughter, Chloe. Powell tells them that the baby he’s holding is actually their grandchild and that now he’s in power. Powell tells Todd that he has taken away his freedom and sanity. He tells Marty that he never wanted to hurt her. Marty and Todd are frightened what Powell is going to do with the baby. Marty tells Powell that he saved her by helping her get her memory back. Powell breaks down and hands the baby over to Marty. John reaches the frat house and calls to leave a message for Officer Fish just as Rebecca comes from behind and hits John over the head with a rock. John comes to just as Rebecca is going to inject John with a needle, he grabs it and sticks it into her arm. Powell is about to slice Todd’s throat when John fires his gun and shoots Powell in the back.
