Driving Miss Destiny - OLTL Recap for Wednesday, May 13, 2009

At LaBoulaie, Starr tells Cole about Marcy calling about Hope’s exhumation. They will soon have answers. In the foyer, Shaun opens the door to Destiny demanding her brother’s phone number. When Shaun refuses her, she begs for a ride for her date and her to prom. Her date turns out to be her cousin Tyrone. When she goes at her brother about family pulling through for family, he reluctantly agrees to drive them to the prom. Back in the parlor, Starr and Cole giggle about Markko being embarrassed to buy condoms and Langston getting the French ones from Dorian. They decide to go to the prom and give their friends a hard time.

At the school gym, Asher is amused by Lola’s obvious facial hatred of Langston and Markko and offers to help her getting to them. She advises him she’s way ahead of him and has a flashback of pricking holes in the French condoms. Langston is all over Markko goosing him and kidding him about getting the condoms. Lola walks up to them and makes a comment about Langston getting pregnant and also how since they’re both virgins, they should try the first time with someone experienced. As Asher smirks, Langston gives him a strong elbow in the gut on Starr’s behalf. Once recovered, the drug dealer slips Lola a small baggie containing LSD.

Rachel and Matthew are in the school hallway and get to meet a lost Pussycat Doll who gets real flirty with Matthew. After she leaves, Justin and Becca walk up and are very polite to Rachel, but as soon as Gannon goes to the other room, they taunt Matthew. Destiny walks in with Tyrone. Rachel and Shaun spot an exchange between Asher and Justin. When Justin spots Rachel, he feigns innocence and tells the drug dealer he’s not into that stuff. Shaun gets a firm grip on Asher until the police arrive.

Over at Rodi’s, Stacy flaunts being with Rex. As Gigi sadly looks on, Brody gets ready to ditch a container of spoiled mayo. Marasco takes it off his hands, smears it on Stacy’s burger and serves it to her sister. Later at Rex’s, Stacey pukes her guts out. She really wants to go dancing to get Rex’s mind off Gigi throwing herself at her new beau in front of them. Instead she falls asleep on the couch and Rex takes a picture of Gigi, Shane and him and places it in a drawer. Meanwhile, Gigi’s at the chapel visioning she and Rex getting married. She decides not to be doormat for her sister anymore and storms out of the church.

At Ultra Violet, as Clint patiently waits for Nora’s answer, Viki suggests privacy for the duo. Nora accuses Clint of proposing because of feeling threatened by Bo. He finally admits to her that it did have something to do with his timing. Across the room, Viki, Charlie and Roxy talk about what’s going on at the gravesite. Jess listens and sees herself at the vineyard holding her baby right after birth and saying, “Why aren’t you crying?” Meanwhile, Clint finally admits to Nora that it’s because of Bo he has proposed. He apologizes for his behavior the past year, tells her he truly loves her, and wants to support Matt, Bo and her. She finally gives in and they kiss.

Out in the alley at Ultra Violet, Nat is in a panic of the planned exhumation. They discuss whether it’s best to involve Bo and tell him the truth or Viki. They finally decide that since the truth will be out tomorrow anyway, the wedding will be cancelled and they may as well elope tonight.

At Rodi’s, Jessica admits to Brody that she feels like she’s been punched in the stomach when hearing about the retrieval of Hope’s body. She’s also apprehensive about the wedding the next day and wondering what people are thinking of her being a maid of honor to someone she almost murdered. At Lovett’s request, she changes into her bridesmaid dress and he is in his white dress uniform. They dance.

At the chapel, Natalie and Jared are pronounced man and wife. Back at the prom, Lola slips a packet on her tongue as the morning talk show host for Llanview introduces The Pussycat Dolls. The crowd enjoys the music and the lead singer makes a point to dance out to her date, Matthew.
