Cole and Matthew end up having an awkward encounter. Matthew questions why he was at his house and Cole tells him he was there to talk with his dad. Matthew asks how it went. Cole goes on to tell him that he and Starr needed answers about their baby. Cole asks him how he was doing and Matthew answers him that he was doing fine. Rachel later asks Cole if he felt uncomfortable seeing Matthew in his wheelchair for the first time and Cole can only feel more guilt. Rachael informs Cole that Matthew is beginning to accept it and that he needs to. Markko goes to the drugstore to buy condoms and the sales lady recognizes him from church. The sales lady goes on to tell him that she’d be sure to tell his mother that he was shopping for the essentials for prom night. Markko begins to freak out and call Cole for help. Cole decides to help Markko buy the condoms for him and later informs Markko that he was still using drugs when he asked him for his help taking the drug test. Markko informs Cole that he and Langston were going to have sex on prom night. Markko obtains the courage to buy the condoms on his own, just in case Langston found out.

Dorian overhears Starr and Langston’s conversation about how Langston was going all the way with Markko. Langston finds out that her cousin informed Dorian about it and she lashes out at Lola. Langston tells Lola to leave her and Markko alone and there was nothing she or Dorian can do to stop Langston from having sex with Markko. Langston convinces Dorian that she really loves Markko and that the night was going to be special. Dorian eventually gives her consent and offers Langston a compact with condoms she got in France. Starr helps Langston get ready for the prom. Langston tells Starr that prom night would be better if she and Cole went. Rachael asks Matthew if he was taking anybody to prom. Matthew tells her that he was thinking of asking somebody but he wasn’t a good friend to her and that she was attending the prom with someone else. Rachael encourages Matthew into going to prom. Ray finds out what Lola has done and continues to tell her to leave Markko alone. He suggests she look at the student directory for another boy. Lola tells her father once again that she’d stop bothering her cousin and Markko just to get him off her back. Despite what her father tells her she thinks up another scheme to destroy Langston and Markko.

Bo and Nora decide not to talk about the kiss that almost occurred if Marcie hadn’t been there. Bo tells Nora that he acted in impulse and they both agreed it was because they were upset about Matthew. They begin to hug and Clint walks in. Clint expresses how he’s been jealous and feels like he’s being pushed aside. Just when Nora apologizes, Bo with a guilty conscience decides to tell Clint that he almost kissed Nora. Clint gets angry at Nora for her not being the one to tell him. The two brothers begin to argue until Rachael brings in Matthew dressed for the prom. Jack finds Tea and his parents lying unconscious on the floor and before he can call for some help Powell dressed as an EMT and Rebecca enter the house. Powell intimidates Jack and Jack soon realizes that Powell is the killer. Starr calls her father’s cell phone which a defenseless Jack grabs and is coaxed into telling her that the family was going to the movies and that Todd didn’t want his car back that she borrowed and said he loved her. Starr grows suspicious of the conversation. Powell informs Jack that he and Sam were going to stay with Rebecca at Todd’s. Putting his plan into motion Powell drags Tea, Blair and Todd out of the house.
