Love Hurts - OLTL Recap for Monday, May 4, 2009

Brody comes out from hiding behind the tree. Viki questions Jessica and Brody if they are seeing one another. Jessica confesses she is. Jessica is about to explain how Viki had to stay quiet, until Natalie begins to scream at Brody. Natalie informs her mother that Brody slept with Gigi and how upset she was at him for ruining what Rex and Gigi had. Jessica pretends to go off on Brody and calls him an “ass.” Later on she apologizes to Brody, after sneaking out of the house and meeting him outside the front door, where they begin to kiss. Shane comes home from the hospital only to tell Rex he doesn’t want him to stay with him and Gigi. He tells his parents that it makes him sick that they are pretending everything was alright. Rex reluctantly grabs some of his belongings, tells Shane he loves him more than anything and leaves.

An emotional Gigi gets a visit from Viki. Viki tries to find out what was really going on and believes Stacy has something to do with Gigi and Rex breaking up. Gigi continues to tell her that she slept with Brody. While on the streets, Stacy gets advice from a bum and ends up on Rex’s doorstep. She asks Rex if she could stay and Rex obliges. He believes he can use Stacy for moral support. He tells her that he never had such a problem before that he felt so badly about and Stacy appears apologetic. Starr asks Todd if she could leave and right away Todd thinks she wants to run to Dr. Joplin. She tells him she needs to get to Cole and that it was a matter of life and death. Starr puts her father straight and states she will crawl if she had to.

Cole continues to hallucinate and sees Matthew in the room. Matthew tells him to jump out the window and although he’d only be jumping out of the 2nd floor, if he jumped just right he could end up paralyzed like him. Matthew also taunts him into taking more drugs. Starr gets to Cole just in time and tries to convince Cole that she was really there. She tells Cole that he was hallucinating seeing Matthew in the room. Starr consoles Cole and helps him into bed. Cole and Starr both tell each other that they love each other.

John and Marty are in the hotel room getting ready for bed. Marty asks John to tell her about the time they shared together. John tells her that they were in a hotel similar to the one that they were in now. He goes on to say that she told him the story when she was on the phone with her husband when he died and John told Marty a time when he lost someone he cared about. John lets Marty know that after she was kidnapped that he never stopped looking for her or caring. John gets into bed with Marty and she grabs his hand and he turns to her and cuddles up against her. Blair leaves the hospital without being released and heads to Todd’s house. She demands to have her children. Todd tells her that Starr had something to take care of and that the boys were upstairs. Blair is taken back that Todd allowed Starr to go and Todd confesses that Starr has her mother’s willfulness that won him over. Todd is reluctant to let Blair have the kids, so Blair decides to move in.
