Demons - OLTL Recap for Friday, May 1, 2009

Starr is less then thrilled to be at Todd’s house, while Jack and Sam are elated to be reunited with their father. Starr goes upstairs to “use the bathroom,” but makes a phone call to Cole instead – reassuring him that he’ll be ok and he can get thru the detox. Todd grabs the phone, thinking it’s Schuyler, and hangs up. Starr becomes agitated with Todd. Todd knows that Starr hates him and he wants to get their relationship back. Starr confesses that she doesn’t hate Todd, she hates what he does – that’s why she was going to give her baby to Marcie, to get back at Todd. Todd asks Starr to let him prove himself to her, Starr explains that she has to return home ASAP or Cole will die. Cole begins to see hallucinations – beginning with Todd, Marty, Markko, Schuyler and ending with Nora and Matthew. Cole seriously doubts that he’ll make it thru detox alone and calls out for Starr.

Marcie interrupts Bo and Nora before they can lock lips, thinking they are teenagers cutting class to neck in the parking lot. Marcie realizes her mistake, both Bo and Nora admit that they are there to protect Matthew. Marcie tells them about Justin’s actions during class. Nora immediately wants to handle the situation, Marcie gets both her and Bo to realize that they can’t hover Matthew and they need to let him fight his own battles. Bo and Nora are reluctant to accept this, but see no other choice. Both John and Marty are bewildered, John knows that Marty wouldn’t use her real name is she were in fact smuggling Powell out of the mental hospital. Marty can’t seem to remember a woman from Powell’s past that could be helping him. John thinks he knows who to call. Viki receives a call from Mrs. Kwon asking her for a donation – since her families new-found interest in Powell.

Viki is confused when Ms. Kwon tells Viki that Kevin and Jessica came to see Powell the other day. Viki’s call is interrupted by Dorian, who storms into Llanfare demanding Viki do something about Todd regaining custody of the kids. Viki promises to look in on the children every day. Viki receives a call from John, she excuses Dorian out of her house and Dorian leaves with a huff. Viki surmises that John and Marty are the “Kevin” and “Jessica” that Ms. Kwon was speaking of. John confirms this and asks Viki for help in Powell’s past – Viki remembers a woman named Rebecca Lewis, with whom both Todd and Powell had a fling with. John searches for Rebecca’s name on the internet – only to find that she’s a doctor and mysterious left the hospital she was working at 6 months ago. Viki thinks this whole arrangement is odd.

Meanwhile, Jess and Brody are sneaking around in the garden hoping they aren’t noticed by anyone – trying to keep their cover. Both Brody and Jess wish they could be free with their relationship. At the same time, Jess fells relieved that they are taking it slow. Jess and Brody make plans to see each other the next day. Brody has to hide when Viki comes out to the garden. Viki sees that Jess is all flushed and flustered, almost glowing. Jess makes up a story but Viki hears something and wants to call Bo – thinking it might be the serial killer. Jess stops Viki from calling Bo and calls Brody out. Viki is a little confused as to why Brody was hiding. Ms. Kwon tells “Marty” that Powell’s family has stopped by, “Marty” is very agitated by this and storms in to see Powell. It’s revealed that the woman posing as Marty is Rebecca Lewis, she undoes Powell’s straightjacket and tells Rebecca to get him out of their soon because “I’ve got places to go and people to kill!”
