Unplugged-OLTL Recap for Monday, April 27, 2009

Before going back to L.A. David pays a visit to Viki and tells her about his new success at stardom. At first Viki humors him when she finds out it’s a hemorrhoid commercial he’s starring in. Afterwards, she ends up telling him how happy she is for him. Viki asks David if he saw his father since he’s been back and David tells Viki that the whole point of his visit back to Llanview was to break it off with Dorian. He tells Viki that he was still uncomfortable calling Bo, his father. Marty and John begin to flee from the police. John asks if she was having second thoughts and that there was still time for her to go. Marty tells John she feels safe with him and that she was fleeing from the person who’s trying to murder her. John tells her to call Cole to let him know what was going on.

While at the diner Cole is struggling through his withdrawal symptoms and tells Starr that he’s just nervous about waiting for their baby’s test results. Starr noticing that Cole is hyper gets suspicious. When Cole takes the call from his mom Starr finds the pills Cole stole from the hospital. Starr is outraged and runs off and Cole has no other choice but to tell her that he never stopped using drugs and that he needs her support. Gigi tells Brody to tell Jessica the truth, that she didn’t sleep with him and that it was just her plan to save her son’s life and to keep it to themselves. Brody tells Gigi to tell Rex the truth but Gigi tells him she can’t because she believed that God punished her when Shane had the minor relapse because she was going back on her word. Another concern she told Brody was that if Shane needed another transplant she still needed Stacy. Brody tells Jessica the truth and Jessica is horrified to hear of Stacy’s tactics. Brody expresses his feeling for Jessica.

Rex visits Stacy to bring her flowers from Shane. Rex tells Stacy how beautiful of a thing she did; when they get interrupted by Schuyler with the bag of Stacy’s stem cells in hand. Schuyler tries to tell Rex that the stems cells that Shane received weren’t Stacy’s. Unable to put a credible story together, Rex thinks Schuyler’s out of his mind and doesn’t think it’s safe for Stacy to stay with him. Before leaving Rex sees Gigi coming from Brody’s room. Gigi makes Rex assume that she made out with Brody again. Schuyler and Stacy have another argument and she tells her he’s through with her, like he is with his drug problem and throws her out.

Roxy visits Rex’s father to tell him that she doesn’t need him anymore and that she has enough stem cells if Shane would need them. She tells him she’s going to finish up the job of killing him and brings an instruction book of how to remove life support and she unplugs all the wires. Roxy tells the patient that he can never hurt her, Rex or Shane. Before leaving she puts a sheet over him. The patient rises just when a nurse comes in to check on him. Later Roxy has a mini celebration and receives a call from the nurse at the hospital. After being coaxed by the patient, the nurse tells Roxy that the patient she has been visiting has died.
