OLTL Episode Recap

Dorian rushes into her house after seeing half of Llanview’s police department on her front lawn. She is a little upset that Markko spent the night, but relieved that Langston stayed in her room while Markko took the couch. Ray explains to Dorian what happened to Talia, Dorian is in utter disbelief but relieved that Lola and Langston are ok. Dorian senses something between Lola and Langston, everything comes out in the open about Lola’s attempt to steal Markko. Both Dorian and Ray think it was a bad idea for Lola to pursue Markko, Lola rushes out promising to make Markko and Langston pay. Rachel meets Cole at the drug rehab center to tell him that she is his new councilor. Cole is a little put off that Rachel would want to help him, after finding out who she is. Rachel explains that their time at the rehab clinic has nothing to do with their personal lives and feelings. After Cole denying having withdrawal symptoms, Rachel fears that Cole is still using. Cole refuses to call himself an addict. Lola rushes in and tells Rachel that Cole used Markko’s urine for his last drug test. Bo calls Cris to his officer, wherein he tells Cris about Talia – the media doesn’t know anything yet because Bo put them on a media blackout, wanting Talia’s family to be informed first. Bo explains that Antonio is on his way, he asks Cris to tell Talia’s friends.

Meanwhile, Layla is cursing Talia for not being home to walk the dog because Layla has a very important meeting with a fashion designer. Cris shows up, Layla is less then thrilled to see him. Cris tells Layla the news about Talia, Layla doesn’t believe Cris and rushes out of the apartment to walk the dog. When Layla returns, Cris is still there and she realizes that her friend isn’t coming home. Marty is at the police station for moral support for John, she runs into Nora and Bo. Nora really hopes that she doesn’t have to prosecute John, but might not have a choice. Mayor Lowell shows up, hell-bent on bringing John down and re-establishing his own reputation – a reputation that John tarnished one too many times. Bo doesn’t like the way the Mayor is handling things, but the Mayor doesn’t seem to be concerned. Lowell wants a press release ASAP. Bo wants to wait, however Lowell informs Bo that he’s already put out a release to alert the media and assure the citizens of Llanview that all is well.

Zack and John are in adjoining cells, Zack taunts John until Tea shows up. Tea explains that she wants to work on getting John out so she needs the whole story. John explains what happened, Tea believes she’ll be able to get John bail. Tea also begins to believe that Todd might actually be the serial killer. Marty goes to see John, she is approached by Zack who was just taken out of his cell for his arraignment. Marty brushes him off without saying a word. John explains to Marty that he didn’t kill Talia, Marty knows this and wants to know who did kill her. John says that he doesn’t think it was Zack, he also doesn’t think it’s Todd. Viki goes to see Todd to ask him to stop using Tea, however Todd explains that Tea used him – explaining the situation. Viki can see that Todd still has feelings for Tea, which Todd denies. Their conversation is interrupted when Todd finds out that John is in jail for murder – his next plan is to regain custody of his children. Todd runs into Tea at the police station, asking if there’s anything new she’d like to tell him. Bo takes Antonio down to the morgue to see Talia’s body. Antonio stares at her and says nothing, letting a tear trickle down his face.
