Daily OLTL Recaps

From Richard Schwertfager, for About.com

Starr tells Cole that she changed her mind and wants to know how their baby died. Cole knows that they can’t go back to how they were before everything happened to them, but at least they would be able to cope a little better knowing exactly how their baby died. Roxy and Kyle begin taking blood from “John Doe.” After a close call with a nosy nurse, thwarted by Roxy’s quick wit, Kyle and Roxy are on their way back to Llanview Hospital with the blood that will save Shane’s life. The not-so-brain-dead “John Doe” begins to stir in his bed. Rex stops by to see how Stacy is handling the blood donation. Stacy explains that there is nothing that she won’t do to save Shane’s life. Rex wants to put all the “bad blood” behind them so they can attempt to be civil to each other, which Stacy is all-too-willing to do. Schuyler interrupts them and explains to Rex who he is while Stacy is trying not to make a big deal out of the fact that she and Schuyler dated. Schuyler takes off.

Marcie visits with Gig and Shane and notices that Gigi becomes increasingly upset every time Marcie mentions Rex. They go out in the hall to talk, wherein Gigi explains that she and Rex broke up because she slept with Brody. Marcie doesn’t buy that story for a minute, she also tells Gigi that she’s got to fix things with Rex because they are meant to be together. Schuyler overhears this and gives his condolences to Gigi, but not before telling her that he and Stacy used to be an item and that Rex is in Stacy’s room. Gigi rushes to Stacy’s room where she finds Rex holding Stacy’s hand, before she can say anything Mike shows up – he’s ready to take the bag of Stacy’s blood into Shane’s room. Stacy freaks out because Roxy hasn’t been in to do the switch yet, Stacy fakes fainting to buy more time. Meanwhile, Roxy and Kyle devise a plan where she clears out Stacy’s room as Kyle has Mike paged. Their plan goes off without a hitch – until Schuyler sees Stacy dumping something into a biohazard container (that would be her bag of blood). Mike starts the transfusion as Gigi and Rex watch on, Gigi is overcome by tears and rushes out of the room. Roxy sees Gigi upset and tells Gigi that it’s time to tell Rex the truth because now Gigi can’t take her bone marrow back.

Neither Bo nor Nora can believe that John’s fingerprint is on the knife. Bo wants to keep it as quiet as possible for as long as possible, however Mayor Lowell gets wind of the information and rushes to see Bo – threatening to fire Bo if he doesn’t bring John in for questioning ASAP. Bo has no choice, he sends Talia and Fish after John. Bo senses that they are keeping something from him and Talia admits that John is the one who phoned in the breaking and entering call at Zack’s house. Bo is furious for being kept in the dark and promises to deal with Fish and Talia later. John returns home to find Marty at “La Boulie.” Marty explains that she remembers what Zack did to her. John fills her in on the happenings at the station regarding the status of the KAD Killer case – even telling her about the knife. Marty is hoping they put a stop to all the killings soon. While John and Marty are talking, the KAD Killer creeps around outside. John and Marty step out for a bit of fresh air, but John hurries Marty back into the house when he hears something. John goes to investigate. Meanwhile, Talia and Fish have been ringing the doorbell. Talia goes around the house to look for a back door. Marty answers the door and lets Fish in, Fish explains why he’s there and asks where John is. Marty explains what happened regarding the noise. John is looking around the grounds and spots blood on the ground. John spots something in the pool, he sees Talia floating upside down in the pool. John rushes to Talia and sees that she’s been stabbed and is dead. . .
