OLTL Recap for Wednesday, April 15, 2009

Starr is frantically dumping the contents of her purse trying to find her locket with Hope's hair and asks her Dad via phone if he's seen the locket at his house. In the foyer, Shaun receives a call from Destiny at school and reprimands her for contacting him on the job. The bodyguard then joins Starr and takes her phone away when he finds she's talking to Manning. He assures the publisher that he'll "break all his calling fingers" if he contacts Starr again. Todd's reaction is to stomp on his phone as Tea enters and witnesses his outburst. Back at LaBoulaie, Langston tries to get her best friend to see that Schuyler doesn't share the same love for her as she does for him. Cole, on the other hand, steps up when you need him. She asks if the teacher has even checked on Starr since the hostage event.

Markko visits Cole at the rehab place and the guys try to rebuild their friendship. Cole admits he still cares for Starr even after her attraction to Mr. J. Markko is shocked that Cole told Manning about the kiss between Starr and the teacher. Their discussion is interrupted by someone telling Cole to report to the nurse's office for a sample. After she leaves, Thornhart quickly explains about taking the prescription drugs at Manning’s and how this rehab place is picky about everything. He begs his friend to provide a urine sample.

Rachel & Bo are waiting in the Living Room for Matthew to go to school. When he wheels in, he announces that he doesn't want to go to school. Rachel offers to stay the day with him. They talk about Rachel's past drug use and how close Matthew came to giving in to peer pressure. At school, Destiny warns Becca and Justin that they can viewed as accessories to Matthew's accident. Apparently they believe her since later they go to the Buchanan house and pretend to make amends with the teen. Matt wants no part of their friendship. At LaBoulaie, Shaun acts mysterious when Destiny arrives there and begs to talk to their “other brother” who she thinks can help Matthew. Shaun denies her requests stating that’s he’s no brother to either one of them!

At police headquarters, Nora interrogates Zach as McBain observes through a two way mirror. As she shows him the pictures of the victims, he insists he had nothing to do with it. As Nora is getting nowhere, John is joined by Bo. John's not convinced that Zach is their man. The commish takes out a bloody knife found hidden in Rosen's motel room. The tech people think it's the same knife used on Blair!

Back at Manning's, Todd accuses Tea of being attracted to him. She vehemently denies any attraction! He tells his former attorney of Joplin’s attraction to Starr and then flashes back to his missed opportunity of shooting McBain during the hostage situation. Manning snaps back to reality and taunts Delgado accusing her of wanting him. They end the flirtation with her pushing Todd inside his door and her following as the door slams.

At the rehab place, Markko says Cole can pay him back the favor by getting back with Starr. Elsewhere in the building, a new counselor is briefed on her latest client. Rachel has been put on Cole's case!
