Past, Present Tense - OLTL Recap for Monday, April 13, 2009

Natalie worries that she and Jared are making a mistake about being Chloe’s godparents then debates destroying the evidence so that no one will ever know the truth. Jared tells her that destroying the evidence will not erase what they know, but agrees he doesn’t know how to tell Jessica. While burning the DNA results, the smoke alarm goes off which brings Jessica running.

Gigi tells Jessica that Brody didn’t cheat on her while Rex eavesdrops. After swearing Jessica to secrecy, Gigi starts to tell Jessica the truth. As soon as she brings Stacy up, Rex angrily barges in before Gigi can confess to how Stacy blackmailed her. Roxy tries to cheer up Shane but is put off when the kid talks up Stacy for saving his life. The tech tries to convince Roxy to come clean. When Gigi and Rex show up, Roxy slips and tells Gigi that she’s mad at Stacy for what she’s done. Shane asks Rex why everyone is mad at Stacy. Gigi pushes Roxy to tell her what she knows. Stacy puts off Schuyler’s advances despite his attempts to convince her that she doesn’t even know if Rex will want her. When the hospital tech shows up to discuss the final plans for switching the bone marrow, Schuyler wants to know what Stacy is up to.

Zach taunts Todd by holding a gun on Starr and telling his daughter about how Todd was the ringleader of Marty’s rape.Downstairs, Cole and Marty fear for Starr’s safety. Cole admits that he still loves Starr. John and Marty try to devise a plan to save Starr. Todd tires to convince Zach that Starr disowned him and hurting her won’t hurt him. When Zach doesn’t buy his lie, Todd offers his life in exchange for Starr’s. While Zach debates with Todd, Starr escapes downstairs to Cole and Marty. While John fights Zach for the gun, a shot is fired.
