Stacy’s Turn - OLTL Recap for Friday, April 3, 2009

Stacy dreams about Rex in her sleep, when Schuyler wakes her up she denies having feelings for Rex – even though Rex and Gigi are no longer a couple. Schuyler, knowing how Stacy operates, suspects that Stacy has concocted some plan to land Rex because, he knows, that Stacy always gets what she wants. Rex finds Bo for a much needed guy talk, wherein Rex tells Bo that they’ve found a match for Shane but Gigi broke up with him after he found her in bed with Brody. Bo tells Re that he doesn’t believe for one second Gigi slept with Brody. Rex’s head is being twisted several different directions, he doesn’t even know which way is up. Bo is relieved to find that the hospital found a donor for Shane. Rex, however, is sickened by the thought of Stacy’s bone marrow coursing through Shane’s body. Gigi goes to Viki for some girl talk, Viki can see that Gigi is distraught as Gigi explains that she and Rex are no longer together. Viki, trying not to judge Gigi, thinks the whole situation doesn’t make any sense (not seeing the logic for Gigi to sleep with Brody). Gigi wishes she could tell Viki the truth, however she can’t and asks Gigi if she would give up anything to save the life of her child to which Viki doesn’t hesitate to reply “I would give up everything for any of my children.”

John, Moe and Starr begin a search for Jack, who has disappeared. Moe looks everywhere outside and can’t find him, John searches the entire house and can’t find Jack. Starr suggests they speak to the driver, explaining that when she was Jack’s age he would take her anywhere she wanted to go. Starr inquires to John about Cole, John explains that he talked to Cole and he’s doing fine. Starr brings up what Cole did to Schuyler, John wonders why Starr is referring to her teacher by his first name and asks why she knows so much about Mr. Joplin’s background. Starr explains that they begin to talk after they found out they had a connection to each other. John, not totally satisfied with the answer, but has to run as the driver explains that he took Jack to Todd’s office. Jack shows up in Todd’s office, demanding to know if Todd has followed thru on his promise. Todd explains that he’s got a plan to get Tea to admit that John and Blair’s marriage is of convenience – hoping to destroy Blair’s credibility and regain custody of his children. John shows up and tells Jack that its time to go, Jack doesn’t want to go anywhere with John. Todd backs up John, not wanting to fight in front of Jack. Jack storms out of the office as John follows.

Viki calls Moe and he rushes over to meet with her, Viki explains Gigi’s predicament with her sister. Moe, who didn’t even know Gigi had a sister, is very suspicious of the turn of events – as is Viki. Marty and Cole share a breakfast together, Marty’s first step in trying to become Cole’s mother again. She seems genuinely concerned over Cole’s current state, Cole believes that he should be in jail for what he did to Matthew. Marty asks about Cole’s sponsor, Cole explains that he’s applying for a new one because he doesn’t trust Mr. Joplin. Marty suggests they talk it out, Cole promises to do so and goes to see Schuyler. Meanwhile, Zack Rosen watches Marty from another table. Fish is also at the Buenos Dias, digging up whatever he can on Powell Lord and Zack Rosen. John shows up, which prompts Zack to take off quickly. Fish sees John and rushes over to him with news about the case. Marty tells Fish she knows about the case and wants to hear about the news. Starr calls Schuyler, who doesn’t pick up the phone. Starr goes over to Schuyler’s apartment and finds him in the shower. As he emerges, Starr begins to undress, thinking they can be together. Schuyler explains that they can never see each other again. Unknown to them, Cole is outside the door. Stacy runs into Kyle and explains that she’s there to save Shane’s life. Kyle is a little bewildered as he explains that he ran the test on Stacy’s blood compatibility with Shane and she wasn’t a match. Todd gets an unpleasant surprise when Zach shows up at his office. . .
