Llegless in Llanview - OLTL Recap for Wednesday, March 11, 2009

Gigi is shocked to walk into her bedroom and find Stacy on top of Rex What she can’t see is Rex totally out. Balsom sits up still groggy from the drugs the stripper put in his drink. Gigi relates the news about the car wreck and Balsom runs out of the room to be with Shane. The brunette demands answers so Stacy claims Rex came onto to her. She is relieved that her sister arrived when she did or no telling what he would have done to her! Rex returns as she’s finishing her version and claims it’s a lie. Gigi is almost believing him until Stacy blurts out about him wanting a lap dance and comparing it to Rex crashing Adrianna’s bachelorette party with his pole dance. Gigi reminds her beau of the empty beer bottles and silenced phone she just found downstairs. Balsom insists he loves Gigi as well as his son and would never do something like silence his cell phone from her calls.

At Llanview Hospital, Todd attempts to comfort his daughter. Starr tells him how she knows exactly what his plans were with Dr. Joplin telling her that her baby was dead. The deceased doctor left a letter behind with details; however her son Schuyler burned it.

In the hospital hallway, Dorian tells John that she overheard Manning swearing on his children’s lives that he didn’t stab Blair. She feels the intruder was Ray Montez since he’s a known criminal and has a history of stabbing his wife. John reminds her that he’s not a cop any more. Lord abruptly leaves for LaBoulaie when the phone call she takes is from Langston and she finds out that Ray is there with them!

In Cole’s room, Marty tries to comfort her son. He is distraught wondering what happened to Matthew who was riding in the car with him. Cole tries to stand and collapses on the bed.

Meanwhile in the examining room, Nora and Bo look on in horror as Matthew attests that his feet must be asleep. Michael McBain takes the concerned parents out to the hallway. Worse case scenario is paralysis, but there is still much more testing to be done. All don their happy faces before returning to the boy’s room. The commish explains to his son they need to do more testing and he will stay with him during the procedures while Nora works on insurance with the hospital. As Matthew gets wheeled down the hallway, Bo gives a thumbs up to the onlookers. Marty and Nora share “what an awful night this is hugs,” but Nora’s compassion quickly changes to anger when Saybrooke admits Cole was driving under the influence of drugs! In his room, Cole downloads all Starr’s messages about how messed up he was at the dance and how she wants nothing more to do with him. Nora enters Cole’s room and lets him know just what his drug use caused. She is further infuriated when she figures out that Cole was the one smoking the pot at their house and he allowed her son to take the blame for it!

At LaBoulaie, police are still scurrying about the crime scene as Mo and Noelle look on in shock. Dorian arrives and wants Montez arrested. Stubbs attests that Ray was in the kitchen with him the whole time teaching him how to make tamales and Noelle confirms the Latino’s alibi. Ray tries to assure Lord that he didn’t kill his wife and he wants to find out who really did. Lola peers on with a very guilty look on her face.

Back at the hospital, Michel briefs Starr on her mother’s condition. The teen is frightened as the doctor explains how she’s in a chemically induced coma. Starr runs to ICU, but Todd is detained by the police. She sits at her unconscious mother’s bedside and tearfully begs her to live. After Dorian, Langston and Markko arrive at the hospital, the matriarch comforts Starr in the hallway while John takes vigil at Blair’s bedside. McBain blames himself for leaving her. The teens look shocked as Matthew is wheeled by and Starr tells her friends of Thornhart having his stomach pumped for drug overdose. Nora overhears the conversation and is appalled that they all knew Cole was taking drugs and no one said anything!

Over at the cottage, Rex wants time alone with Gigi. He begs her to believe him that nothing happened. As Gigi icily responds to her beau, Stacy smiles from the hallway. Later, Gigi climbs into bed with Rex but turns her back to him. At Llanview Hospital, Talia enters Cole’s room and reads him his rights. He’s being arrested for driving under the influence as well as child endangerment! From the hallway, Starr’s eyes meet Cole’s. Down the hall, as Dorian watches Blair through the ICU window, Montez gently takes her shoulder. Inside the room, John holds Blair’s hand and feels something. He takes a pair of tweezers and removes a piece of paper with the letter “D” from under her fingernail!
