Backstabbed - OLTL Recap for Friday, March 6, 2009

John and Marty stop, after a fruitless search for Cole. Marty kicks herself for not being a better mother to Cole when he needed her the most. John tries to call Blair to get Starr’s number, however Blair isn’t answering the phone. Marty continues to wonder if her strained relationship with Cole will stay that way, John is sure that Cole will change once they help him see he’s got a problem. Bo and Nora look through old photo albums and being to reminisce about when Matt was younger and about the true paternity of Matthew.

After a dance, Matt brings Becca to get some punch. Destiny, Matt’s African American friend, warns them that the punch has been spiked by Jason, the boy who Becca went to the dance with. Jason goes behind Becca’s back and requests a song, under Matt’s name, to be played for Becca. Matt is totally embarrassed by the song, and then even more embarrassed when Becca admits she only dance with him on a dare. Destiny confronts Jason, pushing him down as Matt rushes out of the dance. Langston can see that something’s up with Markko and thinks its sweet for him to be concerned about Lola. Markko makes Langston think that’s what’s really bothering him, Langston notices Starr still missing and goes to find her. Markko tells Lola that Langston can never find out about the kiss.

Cole sees Starr kissing Schuyler and immediately attacks Schuyler. Starr ties to explain but Cole is acting very irrational because he is so high. Cole takes a swing at Schuyler; Schuyler defends himself as Vice Principle Dickinson walks into the hallway. Dickinson tells Schuyler to unhand Cole and wants to speak with him in her office, before Dickinson can take Schuyler away Cole reveals that Schuyler kissed Starr and that he was a drug addict. Starr can’t believe that Cole won’t even hear her out before he storms off and pops a few more pills. Langston saw the whole thing and demands to know what really happened. Starr explains that she is the one who initiated the kiss, not Schuyler. Cole stumbles to his car; Matt sees him and gets in demanding a ride home. Cole drives off, heavily under the influence of drugs.

Dorian stumbles into Blair’s room after being woken up by her ringing cell phone. Finding it odd Blair not in the room, she opens the bathroom door to find Blair lying on the floor, bleeding profusely. Dorian freaks out when a hand reaches out to her, Todd is behind her wondering what happened. Dorian immediately fingers Todd as the culprit, Todd explains that he just got there and didn’t even see Blair. Todd calls an ambulance while Dorian does what she can do for Blair. The paramedics arrive and immediately transport Blair to Llanview Hospital. Dorian plans on calling the cops to turn Todd in for attempted murder.

Gigi has been called into work and Shane was invited to spend the night at a friend’s house, Rex will be all alone with Stacy – which makes Gigi very uneasy. Rex returns home from the gym and is excited to spend the night with Gigi; unfortunately their night will have to wait. Stacy helps Shane pack while Rex promises Gigi that he’ll start brining home more money soon. Gigi and Shane take off, Rex runs upstairs for a shower. It is revealed that Stacy set the whole evening up – calling Gigi’s boss begging him to give Gigi more hours and calling Shane’s friend to arrange a sleepover. Stacy went as far as to get her hands on sleeping pills, which she spikes, Rex’s beer with. Her evening is all set, until Roxy shows up. Stacy does everything she can to get rid of Roxy; it finally works when Stacy mentions something about Rex’s father. Roxy hurries off; when Rex is done with his shower Stacy gives Rex the beer laced with sleeping pills. Shane and Gigi are en route to his when Shane realizes he forgot his inhaler. Gigi turns around and heads back home. Unknown to her, Cole is driving erratically as he begins to hallucinate. Cole’s car spins out of control as he hits Gigi’s car – both cars drive off the road. .
