OLTL Episode Recap

From Richard Schwertfager, for About.com

After the girls leave for the March Mixer, Dorian attempts to throw Ray out of her house. However, Moe overhears Dorian and reminds her that La Boulie is his house, even producing the paperwork Dorian signed. Dorian admits that it was all a ruse to get David to marry her, Moe, however, isn’t budging – claiming the house is his and even inviting Ray to stay there with Lola. Blair sees that Marty is calling John and wants John to choose between her and Marty. John doesn’t answer the phone, but Marty calls back again. Blair answers and tells Marty that John is busy, Marty quickly hangs up before John can get to the phone. Blair gives John an ultimatum – if he leaves to go help Marty, don’t plan on ever coming back. John looks Blair in the eyes and then takes off to go help Marty.

Cole, who is very high, pays a visit to Todd – claiming he wants everything back that Todd took from him. Todd can see that something is wrong with Cole. Cole lashes out, blaming Todd for everything from his baby dying to his mother “dying.” When Todd tries to throw Cole out, Cole becomes violent (throwing things and knocking over items). Cole is enraged even more when he spots a picture of Todd and Marty, throwing it against the wall before storming out of Todd’s house.

Bo and Nora wait for Matt, who is getting ready for the dance. Nora is glad that Bo eased up on Matt a bit. Bo explains that he believes Matt is done experimenting with drugs, however Bo intends on finding the person responsible for supplying Llanview High with drugs. Matt comes down, all dressed up, Nora rushes to get her camera. Matt asks Bo if its ok to ask someone to dance if she already has a date, Bo tells Matt that “all’s fair in love and war.” John shows up at Marty’s room, Marty is shocked to see him because she thought he was “busy.” Marty begins to explain that she found pills in Cole’s room and tells John about the letter regarding Cole’s possible failure at Llanview High. John and Marty both realize that they need to find Cole, the sooner the better. Their search leads to Todd’s house, John bangs on the door, then breaks in after Todd doesn’t answer. John and Marty find Todd’s house empty and in shambles, the way Cole left it. John sees the picture of Todd and Marty strewn about on the floor and Marty, naturally, becomes upset after seeing it.

Matt arrives at the dance and is put off after seeing Becca dance with her date. Matt goes to sulk in the corner, until a pep talk from a friend of his prompts him to follow his father’s wisdom. Matt cuts in and begins to dance with Becca. Becca’s date spots Asher and approaches him regarding a drug deal. Lola, Langston and Starr arrive at the dance. Starr is preoccupied with searching for Cole – hoping he’s there instead of popping pills. Langston tells Starr that she needs to worry about herself and have some fun tonight. Starr spots Skylar, who is chaperoning, and goes to chat with him. Starr and Skylar chat about Cole, Skylar admitting he spoke to Cole and fears that Cole is on the road to addiction. Langston and Markko dance, Langston sees Lola alone and asks Markko to ask Lola to dance while she goes to talk with Starr. Markko and Lola dance, she makes Markko bring her outside the dance and kisses him. Markko is stunned, Lola profusely apologizes and begs Markko not to tell Langston. Markko promises not to tell Langston, if Lola promises that the kiss was a mistake and a one time thing. Starr ties to get in touch with Cole, however her efforts are fruitless. Skylar sees Starr upset and tries to calm her down. Skylar tells Starr about his mom’s letter, admitting Dr. Joplin was helping Todd. Starr understands why Skylar burned the letter, she kisses him as Cole walks by. Blair, after having a fight with Todd about the kids, gets into a hot shower. Unknown to her, an unidentified person has entered her bathroom, ready to strike with a knife. . .
